You know what I did like about Trump?
Non-interventionist.
Doesn’t hate America.
Wants everyone to succeed.
Isn’t a coward and says things that upset people.
What I don’t like?
He isn’t what I would call an A+ constitutionally.
I don’t like that he opened the door to further let agencies abuse Chevron Deference. Now that did lead to a SCOTUS smack down.
I don’t like the tackiness he shows when it’s unnecessary.
Now third category.
I don’t like people that live and follow I’m blindly, and I don’t like people that hate him blindly.
Most of his policy action was pretty similar to Clinton, W and Obama era stuff.
Now the middle is going to decide the election?
Buddy….they didn’t even ELECT (primary) one of the candidates, nor did they try to kill the other. Forces are at play that are a much bigger issue than the ugly loud orange man. And outside a libertarian Cheeto is the closest to reigning in the MIC we’ve seen since JFK.
I’ll await anyone to debate that.

My biggest issue with him is his behavior. One would expect the President of the United States to conduct himself with a minimum amount of decorum. Trump acts like a clown. Calling one’s opponents names is what kids in 2nd grade do. We should expect and accept nothing less than an exponentially higher level of professionalism.
Next up is his budget policy. In his first term we incurred a large addition to the national debt. Granted we were also in the midst of Covid. Yet that began in the second half of his term. His economic proposals if implemented will add considerably to the national debt. Without a corresponding cut in expenses, cutting revenue simply creates budget deficits which add to the debt. I’m not aware of any specific proposed offsets to balance the income reduction he has promised with his tax cut proposals.
He has said he’s going to deflate inflation. Yet he proposes historic tariffs on imported goods from China. We import a significant amount of Chinese made goods. The tariffs he proposes will increase the overall cost of goods purchased which will drive the CPI up thus leading to higher inflation, not less.
That’s enough to get started. Plenty more where that came from.
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/agenda47 1) I will order the Department of Justice or as some people call it the ‘Department of injustice’ right now and Homeland Security to dismantle every gang, street crew, and drug network in America. Every single one of them will be dismantled.
Certianly sounds great, but is in no way possible. Nothing short of a feel good pipe dream.2) I will deploy all necessary military assets, including the U.S. Navy, to impose the full naval embargo on the cartels.
So we are going to blockade other nations ports?3) Under the plan I’m announcing today, we will take the billions and billions of dollars that we will collect by taxing, fining, and suing excessively large private university endowments, and we will then use that money to endow a new institution called the American Academy.
Sounds a lot like wealth redistribution. Not to mention a new federal bureaucracy. 4) President Trump will stop the wave of frivolous litigation from environmental extremists that hold up critical energy development projects for years, increase project costs, and discourage future development.
Limit access to the courts via executive fiat? Pretty sure that will get struck down the first time it’s challenged. There are plenty more examples but I’m tired.
