Don't be fooled by Gates. His CO2 mitigation strategies are researching how to most effectively depopulate Earth.

For CO2 strategies I would look at Exxon, Total, Occidental, and Chevron. There are tons of small CO2 companies but the fundamental problem is that spending money to capture carbon produces nothing. When you mine carbon you can’t do anything with it but stash it somewhere. It doesn’t produce a product. Government will have to pay for it or mandate the expense. That doesn’t mean it can’t be a lucrative business worth investing in today.

More soft drinks and beer. Problem solved.

And BTW be careful with that pickle ball. That is how I tore up my meniscus. My doc says his business has doubled with all the old people who have pickle ball injuries.

I’ve already got torn miniscus! Prolly from when I was safe at second base and strained some ligaments in beer league softball 20 years ago. It was discovered maybe 7 years ago but stopped hurting before I scheduled surgery.

Brewha,
Since you seem to reject MAC's original post, it would be interesting to hear which of his listed factoids you feel are untrue.

For my part, I will be investigating this CLINTEL group.

It's interesting that the people he chooses to believe (NASA/Gov't, et al) have been wrong for what, 50 years now? Longer? Every prediction they have made has been wrong.

But let's not change our minds when presented with those facts... let's double down!

#1 John F. Clauser

"Climate change denial
In May 2023, Clauser joined the board of the CO2 Coalition, a climate change denial organization.[11] Later that year, Clauser called himself a "climate denier" and claimed "there is no climate crisis".[12] Clauser has never published a peer-reviewed article on the climate, and his views on climate change have been described as "pseudoscience".[12] His belief that cloud cover has more of an impact on Earth's temperature than carbon dioxide emissions is contradicted by the overwhelming scientific consensus on climate change.[12][13][14] Observational evidence shows the overall current cloud feedback amplifies global warming and does not have a cooling effect.[15]"

As always, it is another funded opinion piece from people who have skin in the game - like oil and gas. It shows not evidence but rather focuses on opinions - as though that is the heart of the matter.

The bit about CO2 and what it is. “Plants”, “nature”, we NEED it!!!. The real issue is the thermal reflectivity of greenhouse gases. But, oh no - CO2 is our friend! Priceless misdirection.

People just don’t like the idea that industrial pollution damage the environmental. So they just wish it away. And screw future generations- what have they ever done for us?
