Bill Gates wants to fight ‘climate change’ by vaccinating cows to stop them from emitting methane

Microsoft co-founder and left-wing financier Bill Gates doubles down on one of the odder focuses of climate alarmist activism: manipulating methane in cow flatulence.

(LifeSiteNews) — Microsoft founder and left-wing philanthropist Bill Gates is still brainstorming ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by manipulating cow flatulence, he shared in a recent interview with LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman.

On the October 30 episode of Hoffman’s “Possible” podcast, Gates explained that while work is ongoing to make cow-less meat more appetizing, in the meantime, “many” other solutions are being pursued to the “problem” of the methane emitted by cows as a result of digesting the grass they feed on, which climate activists claim is a much more potent greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide.

“So one is to vaccinate the cows in a way that their gut bacteria that emit the methane, which is also called natural gas or CH4, which is the second most important greenhouse gas, you can vaccinate them and that species of bacteria isn’t there,” he said. “Their [cows’] stomachs are very special because they can eat grass. It’s a three-stage fermentation process, basically. There’s another way you can change what they eat, and you could either put that in their water or their feed. There is a drug to change the microbiome, not a vaccine, but a drug. That looks very promising.”

“And then there’s a solution where you stick a sort of a metal thing into the skin of the cow, and it actually burns the methane,” Gates went on. “And all of these look to be quite cheap and implementable, even in Africa. And so this is one where I wasn’t hopeful when I got started a decade ago. And now it’s just a question of which solution for which country ends up being the best.”

Hey, I'll tell you what. You can get a good look at a butcher's ass by sticking your head up there. But, wouldn't you rather to take his word for it? - Tommy Boy

IMF Calls For Economy-Crushing Carbon Restrictions That Dwarf COVID Lockdowns

At the height of the covid lockdowns and mandates a massive portion of the global economy was shut down, leading to supply chain instability, huge job losses and a stagflationary crisis. However, climate change propagandists argued that the event was actually a positive for the planet when it was revealed that emissions fell by 5.4%. They asserted that the covid lockdowns were a practice run for what they called "climate lockdowns" - Presenting a plan for scheduled disruptions to global economic activity as a means to slow the effects of climate change.

Globalists also presented climate lockdowns as a kind of collective social punishment in the event that populations refused to cut carbon output on their own. As World Economic Forum "Agenda Contributor" Mariana Mazzucato argued in 2020:

"Under a “climate lockdown,” governments would limit private-vehicle use, ban consumption of red meat, and impose extreme energy-saving measures, while fossil-fuel companies would have to stop drilling. To avoid such a scenario, we must overhaul our economic structures and do capitalism differently.

Many think of the climate crisis as distinct from the health and economic crises caused by the pandemic. But the three crises – and their solutions – are interconnected..."

After a public uproar over the notion of extending pandemic lockdowns into climate lockdowns, the establishment media would go on to "Fact Check" the issue and assert that it was a "conspiracy theory." They lied.

The pandemic lockdowns would eventually be exposed as pointless; a disastrous drain on the global economy that did nothing to prevent the spread of the covid virus. But as we witnessed with most of the restrictions instituted during covid, the goal was never to protect the health of the populace. Rather, the goal was to acclimate the populace to an exponentially increasing list of violations of their basic freedoms.

One organization that has a distinct interest in diminishing economic activity for the sake of preventing global warming is the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In a recent 'call for global climate action' the IMF states that restrictions on economic activity and general emissions activity would have to far surpass those enforced during the pandemic in order to get to their stated temperature target of less than 1.5°C.

Open lockdowns of developed nations might not ultimately be the tool that globalists use to reach net zero, but carbon taxation on an oppressive scale could end up having the same effect. Carbon taxes could act like steep interest rate increases commonly used by central banks to slow economic activity during inflation. An indirect economic shut down of this magnitude would be absolutely devastating for western nations in particular, resulting in crippling energy shortages, food shortages, job losses, and eventually total collapse and a population plunge.

Net zero is not possible otherwise.

The IMF and other globalist organizations suggest that all nations must achieve a net zero carbon goal by 2030 in order to avoid the "climate cliff" - The theory that once the Earth hits warming of more than 1.5°C, there will be a domino effect which will lead to environmental catastrophe and even more carbon emissions and warming.

To be clear, there is no evidence whatsoever to support the idea of the climate cliff, primarily because there is no evidence of a causation relationship between carbon emissions and global warming. In fact, there is no evidence that that human industry has a warming effect on the climate whatsoever.

Temperature records for hundreds of millions of years prove that warming periods are a mainstay of the Earth's climate history. In comparison, our current era is one of the coldest, not the warmest. Climate scientists ignore this data and use temperature records going back to the 1880s. Meaning, their data is based on a mere 140 years of the Earth's history.

The current warming rate is not significant to other periods, nor is there any evidence that human activity is causing it. Data on carbon levels of the past show that temperatures do not necessarily rise in tandem with carbon activity. Carbon emissions are also far lower today than they have been in the past. The claim that carbon concentration due to human activity has a drastic influence on global temperatures (or weather) is absolutely unfounded.

The real reason for climate controls and carbon taxes seems to have far more to do with wealth redistribution from developed nations over to developing nations. The agenda is about centralizing the control of national wealth as well as individual liberties and private property. And the IMF, of course, would like to be one of the institutions at the helm of that wealth management empire.

So, keep on wringing your widdle hands and crying. This is wealth distribution of the highest order. It's a sham and the "science" once again isn't what that autistic Greta gnome is crowing about. If you really like being scammed and frightened carry on but do it in your own safe space and stop thinking we all have to play along with your dumb fuckery.

These are things you can google... the atmosphere is 0.04% CO2... of that 0.04% humans account for 11% of it.

What f'n difference will anything we do make? Absolutely miniscule... and we obsess over it and want to spend billions of tax dollars to do absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.

It's mind numbing.

It is mind numbing (?) that such a small percentage can have such large affect. It is understood that if it were to drop too low, say below 200 ppm (.02%), the earth goes into another ice age. The previous high as only 300 ppm - before the Industrial Revolution. Now were are above 400 ppm.

More numbing still is CO2’s relative coefficient of thermal reflectivity - but this is prolly not the place to discuss thermodynamics…..

Funny thing that google. You can find just about anything you want to support your beliefs one way or the other.

"The last time carbon dioxide was so plentiful in our planet's atmosphere was in the Pliocene era, around 3 million years ago. Life on Earth was dominated by giant mammals; humans and chimps had shared their last common ancestor. Although the sun's force was about the same, the sea levels were 15 meters higher ( *and ya needed scuba to find Florida) and Arctic summer temperatures were 14 degrees higher than the present day."

Noted Private Jet User John Kerry Sounds Off: “We’re on The Brink of Needing to Declare a Climate Emergency…We Need to Get People to Behave (VIDEO)

While the Biden regime will officially end in less than two months, that is not stopping its former “climate envoy” from issuing inane threats.

As Breitbart reported, John Kerry attended a forum hosted by the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics last week to speak about the issues related to ‘climate change.’

During his interview, Kerry stated that he believes America is on the verge of needing to declare a “climate emergency” and that public officials must get the public to “behave” accordingly.

Was this a threat?

“I think personally we’re on the brink of needing to declare a climate emergency, which is what we really have,” Kerry said. “And, we need to get people to behave as if this really is a major transitional challenge to the whole planet, everybody.”

Horrible Hochul does it again, signs another bill, a planned LEFTY Climste Change heist.

She spouts out specious Climate Crisis poppycock like this:

“With nearly every record rainfall, heat wave, and coastal storm, New Yorkers are increasingly burdened with billions of dollars in health, safety, and environmental consequences due to polluters that have historically harmed our environment,” Hochul said in a Dec. 26 statement released by her office, noting that $500 billion equates to “more than $65,000 per household.”

New York To Charge Fossil Fuel Companies Billions For Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Authored by John Haughey via The Epoch Times,

The state of New York will charge carbon-emitting companies an estimated $75 billion in climate damage they allegedly caused between 2000 and 2018 under a law enacted on Dec. 26.

Gov. Kathy Hochul signed the Climate Change Superfund Act into law on Thursday. The law is certain to be challenged in court as a state preemption of federal regulatory oversight.

Adopted by lawmakers in June, the law—which goes into effect in 2028—will annually assess large companies’ carbon emissions across those first 19 years of the 21st century to “repair damage caused by extreme weather” they said aggravated by greenhouse gas emissions.

“New York has fired a shot that will be heard round the world: the companies most responsible for the climate crisis will be held accountable,” said Democratic state Sen. Liz Krueger, a lead sponsor of the New York Climate Change Superfund Act.

The bill estimates compliance will cost about three dozen of the state’s largest carbon-emitting companies about $3 billion collectively each year for the next 25 years—$75 billion in total. That would be 15 percent of the $500 billion the Fiscal Policy Institute estimates the law could actually end up costing by 2050.

The money will go into a Climate Change Adaptation Cost Recovery Program to restore and protect coastal wetlands, and upgrade roads, bridges, and stormwater systems, among other infrastructure resiliency projects and programs.

‘Not Incredibly Popular’: Blue State Primed To Clear Cut Hundreds Of Acres Of Forest To Make Way For Solar Panels

January 03, 2025

Michigan is poised to cut down hundreds of acres of forest in order to make space for a solar panel development, MLive reported Thursday.

The state will soon start competitive bidding on approximately 420 acres of forested land near Gaylord, Michigan, to clear space for a solar farm while generating revenue and advancing the state’s long-term green energy targets, according to MLive. There is some evidence suggesting that such a move would actually increase emissions, and Michigan is one of the least-sunny states in the country, according to analysis conducted by The Washington Post.

“Not incredibly popular with everyone,” Scott Whitcomb, the director of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources’ (DNR) public lands office, told MLive. “I will be frank about that.”
