Who is going to fulfil their obligation to attend court if they are afraid of deportation for doing the right thing- showing up when required to?

Thoughts?

You think for a second that if a sitting judge is willing to harbor a criminal that you're really going to get a fair trial?

I do not know. But, probably yes.
But, I do know that arresting people for going to court is counter productive to public policy and court efficiency.

Was he arrested for going to court or arrested for a different crime while at court?

We could improve court efficiency by no longer arresting people for crimes.

We could reduce prison populations by eliminating crimes.

If you come here illegally, wouldn’t you be on your best behavior and therefore avoid being arrested and the consequences of the crime?

Um...they broke the law just by being here illegally. They're going to break laws.

The more you read up on this case...she deserves prison.

You can’t make a juevos rancheros without cracking a few juevos.

Trump should use that defense…..I didn’t do ________ because I witnessed _______

You sound like those reporters trying to tell Tom Holman that he deported a 4 year old cancer patient.

I don't think it would make a difference where they were or why they were there if they're illegal... pretty sure I can't relocate to another country without permission from them.. if I tried and got caught I'm sure I'd be deported also.. I'm sure there's exceptions if I was there spending alot of money.. 😟

So, let's say you have an auto crash injury and a trial. The only thing your sole, independent, critical witness to the crash who is an illegal alien, saw how it happened, but the other side still blames you fully for the crash and wants a zero ($0) verdict. The whole case is about how the crash happened, not even the extent of your conceded injuries. You only get one trial.

Your illegal eyewitness' testimony to the crash is critical and his testimony about what he saw is indisputable. He saw you do nothing wrong, but the other driver was speeding and ran a red light. You would be heavily dependent on that witness' and you'd lose your trial.

Don't you think it is unfair to you? That you would be unduly prejudiced?
You would lose your constitutional right to a fair trial, right?

Ok. Now do the version of this and replace “illegal alien” with “a person wanted for murder in Alabama”.
