Buffalo, NY – Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard’s statement regarding Thanksgiving.

“I have no plans to utilize my office’s resources or Deputies to break up the great tradition of Thanksgiving dinner,” Sheriff Howard explains. “This national holiday has created longstanding family traditions that are at the heart of America, and these traditions should not be stopped or interrupted by Governor Cuomo’s mandates.”

Howard continues, “My office will respect the sanctity of your home and traditions, and I encourage you to follow your heart and act responsibly, as well as do what’s best for your family.”

“On behalf of everyone at the Erie County Sheriff’s Office, I want to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving.”

No doubt about it, we will need to get the laws in place and start ticketing/arresting people that refuse to wear masks and otherwise act like a proper American relative to Covid.

We are in the trouble we are in now because of the knuckle draggers and their refusal to act on even simple safety protocols.

At least with the change of administration we can start to get things understand control....

That equates to more than half of her annual salary of $207,292. Gail Burstein has received more overtime pay than any employee to date.
