Since she’s such a proud alumn I’m curious how many games she’s been to since she lives in the same town they play, and what donations or fundraising efforts she’s been a part of in recent times.

I took in a basketball game at Howard earlier this year. The crowds behavior was offensive to many visitors that weren’t used to seeing the vast majority of the crowd sitting down talking loudly during the anthem, the anthem gets cut off halfway through and they all popped up for the next song. If respecting the anthem is not your thing then so be it, but don’t disrespect it. When they announce to “please stand and gentleman please remove your hats for the anthem” is your cue to either get up and follow suit or stay seated and shut up while others honor it.

As for the school and facilities, they are in disrepair and could use the funding and exposure provided by an alumnus in such a powerful position, not just somebody that waves that banner when it’s convenient.

JUST IN: VP Kamala Harris Speaks About Importance Of Africa In The Future In Accra, Ghana

DrMaddVibe

Even Biden knows Kamala is useless
She may be a lousy VP, but Joe’s stuck with her

As the song in “Li’l Abner” said, “The Country’s in the Very Best of Hands.”

I wonder if Joe Biden knows the tune?

The treasury says the national debt
Is climbing to the sky
And government expenditures
Have never been so high
It makes a fellow get a
Gleam of pride within his eye,
To see how our economy expands
The country’s in the very best of hands

Please note that Joe’s got plenty of help. There are lots of hands building up that debt, opening up our southern border, proselytizing for the girls who think they are boys and vice versa. Among Joe’s most energetic helper dolls is his vice president, Kamala Harris, the country’s first female VP of color, which is why she is so special, because she is a woman, whatever that is, and, being the daughter of an Indian immigrant mother and a Jamaican immigrant father, she’s not even a little bit white.

It seems a little ungenerous of Joe Biden, then, to be complaining, in private anyway, that Kamala Harris, the country’s first female, first multi-racial VP, is not really “rising to the occasion” or taking “anything off his plate.”

As some readers may know, yet another presidential election is scheduled for 2024 and — yet more evidence that the country’s in the very best of hands — the eighty-year-old Joe Biden is planning to do the country a favor by running again. All indications are that he is still planning to have Kamala Harris, the first VP from the distaff side, as his running mate. Unless Covid or another Chinese-Fauci-fabricated malady shows up for a repeat performance, Biden won’t be able to conduct his campaign from his basement, which should be interesting.

According to a “former White House official,” one of the reasons that Joe will not be kicking back and fooling around with his vintage Corvette or perusing the classified documents he stores in his garage is that he is “concerned that Harris may not be able to beat former president Donald Trump, who is seeking the GOP nomination.”

I think we can all admit that that is a legitimate concern, even though though the merry Harris is the first partially black woman to be vice president. (According to Vox, “some black voters debated whether she is truly ‘black enough.’” Shall we take a poll?)

This is not to say that Joe does not admire his vice president. He clearly does. At a Women’s History Month recently, Joe blinked twice and shouted: “You know, our outstanding vice president, you’ve shattered so many barriers and did it mostly on your own.” A little nudge from Willie Brown, but we all need a leg up, what?

Joe continued his encomium : “You know, San Francisco, first woman district attorney. California’s first woman attorney general. Doug [that would be Douglas Emhoff, Harris’s husband] you have had such an incredible partner in this historic progress.”

At another recent event, this one celebra — er, commemorating — the thirteenth anniversary of Barack Obama’s partial nationalization of healthcare — Joe beamed: “Kamala, I want to thank you for everything you’ve done to defend this law as vice president.” Some ungrateful wretches wondered exactly what Joe had in mind, since her involvement in that disaster, to the ordinary observer, was non-existent.

The bottom line is that, even if Kamala Harris is not taking things off the president’s plate, even if she is, according to him, a “work in progress,” she is still the first female person of color in the job, so hurrah!

And, yes, the country’s in the very best of hands:

The money that they taxes us
That’s known as revenue
They compound up collaterals
Subtracts the residue
Don’t worry about the principal
And interest it incrues
They’re shipping all that stuff to foreign lands
The country’s in the very best of hands

The only thing that would endear Kamala to Joe more would be if Kamala was LGBQ+++ Trans.

Kamala fibbed to the Afrikans, she didn't say she was the "first multi-racial VP" or the first "partially black woman VP", she said she was the first black woman VP.

Is Harris a biological woman? Just wondering because I've never heard a dumber "lady" talk like "her".

No, Gun Violence Isn’t The Leading Cause Of Death Among Children

I recently wrote about an extraordinarily misleading Kaiser Family study that claimed “1 in 5” Americans have a family member who has been killed by a gun. Kaiser’s inflated findings were based on a small sample size of self-reported answers to questions that offered no useful limiting parameters.

In many ways, another endlessly repeated contention of gun controllers suffers from the same problem: Gun violence is the number one cause of death of children in America. Virtually every media outlet and Democrat repeats this contention — including, recently, the vice president. The claim is meant to conjure up distressing images of frolicking kids in parks and schools being gunned down by assault weapons.

And horrific events certainly happen in the country. We need not gloss over the evil of mass school shootings, even if they’re rarer than gun-control types would have you believe. But that does not give people license to make things up.

We don’t really know which study Harris based her comments on, if any. And different sources come to different conclusions. None of them, however, are grounded in our familiar understanding of “children.” These studies count adults who are 18 and 19, and sometimes up to 25, years of age. Americans under 18 can’t purchase guns legally. That age seems, at the very least, the most obvious divide between adults and children. Because when you take 18- and 19-year-old adults out of the equation, the number of gun-related deaths among kids plummets considerably.

According to the CDC, the number one killer of children between 1-14 are accidents — vehicular, suffocation, and drowning. Twice as many kids under 12 died in cars than from guns. Also, if these studies began at birth rather than starting at one, the leading killer of all children would be diseases and genetic abnormalities. Surely a one-year-old is as much a “kid” as a 19-year-old. (And if you begin at fetal viability, by far the leading killer of young people would be late-term abortions — more than 8,000 viable unborn, and probably more than 50,000 performed after 15 weeks.)

No doubt, after many years of decline, there has been a rise in juvenile criminality. And 19 and 18-year-olds are far more likely to engage in criminality than 14 and 15-year-olds. There has also been a rise in juvenile suicides over the last several years. It’s a mental-health crisis. None of the “reasonable gun safety laws” Harris is pushing address those problems.

Perhaps one day, with the advances in car safety technology and medicine, her claim about guns and kids will be true. Today it’s not.

So, unless you live in Chicago...the CDC stats hold (sorry, I giggled pretty good on that one, I mean CDC "data"...totally believable riiight???) I mean she's right there with Miss Bud Light as far as the waterfall of crap coming out of "her" mouth. Did Joe properly give "her" his sniff test?

Kamala Harris Cites 'Squid Game' As Example Of "Intertwined History" Of US And South Korea

In a speech made while hosting South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States, cited the Netflix show Squid Game as an example of cultural ties between the countries.

Yes, really.

Unable to contain laughter as usual, Harris stated “South Korea and the United States, as the Secretary [Blinken] has mentioned, also shared strong cultural and people to people ties. K-pop fans, they topped the billboards in the United States, including BTS, who I had the great pleasure of meeting and inviting to my office in the West Wing and to the great pleasure of my niece, I must tell you.”

She added, “I also think of the Emmy Award-winning TV shows like ‘Squid Games,’ which I will confess, Doug and I binged watched at home over a series of weeks, and I think of the actress Yuh-jung Youn who I met in Seoul last year when I convened groundbreaking South Korean women. She is the first Korean to win an Academy Award for acting. These are examples of the cultural ties and the intertwined history between our nations.”

She couldn’t think of anything cultural or historical associated with South Korea other than K-pop and Squid Game.

Lazy and embarrassing.

After her successful stint at finding the root causes of illegal immigration and telling them to "don't come", Kamala Harris has a new title—CZAR of Artificial Intelligence This time she'll be rooting out the bias from AI with a $140,000,000 budget.
More money pee'd down the drain.

Elon Musk Torches Kamala Harris After Biden Admin Reveals VP's Ridiculous New 'Czar' Role

On Thursday, the Biden administration announced a new effort to promote “responsible artificial intelligence” innovation and added that Vice President Kamala Harris would head the effort. But the announcement only brought bemused guffaws from tech giants including Elon Musk.

Amid growing warnings from futurists and critics who warn that artificial intelligence, or machine learning, has the capacity to harm mankind, the White House announced “new actions that will further promote responsible American innovation in artificial intelligence (AI) and protect people’s rights and safety.”

In a press release posted to the White House website, Biden said, “These steps build on the Administration’s strong record of leadership to ensure technology improves the lives of the American people, and break new ground in the federal government’s ongoing effort to advance a cohesive and comprehensive approach to AI-related risks and opportunities.”

“AI is one of the most powerful technologies of our time, but in order to seize the opportunities it presents, we must first mitigate its risks,” the press release added. “President Biden has been clear that when it comes to AI, we must place people and communities at the center by supporting responsible innovation that serves the public good, while protecting our society, security, and economy. Importantly, this means that companies have a fundamental responsibility to make sure their products are safe before they are deployed or made public.”

In pursuit of this new initiative, and as so many companies begin a headlong drive to develop AI, Biden is directing Vice President Harris to begin the process of setting up this campaign.

Migrant czar’ Kamala Harris to hit up Dem ‘soiree’ as Title 42 lifts

By Steven Nelson
May 12, 2023 11:46am Updated

WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris will visit Atlanta on Friday for a Democratic Party “spring soiree” — instead of visiting the US-Mexico border in her role as migration czar as thousands of people illegally enter America after the lifting of the Title 42 COVID-19 expulsion policy.

Harris will depart Washington around noon and appear mid-afternoon at a Democratic National Committee finance event before being the guest of honor at the Democratic Party of Georgia’s Spring Soiree.

The optics of Harris attending political events instead of attending to the border crisis drew fresh condemnation from Republicans, who have accused her of not doing enough on border issues since President Biden tapped her in March 2021 to lead US efforts to reduce illegal immigration.

“Title 42 ended last night at midnight. Since then, absolute chaos has erupted at the southern border,” tweeted Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.). “Yet Joe Biden and Border Czar Kamala Harris are nowhere to be found.”
