This ’Trojes’ Honduran Corojo leaf is dark and oily....a beautiful leaf with a reddish-brown hue and Cuban-esque flavor. Beneath this leaf, a feisty selection of Nicaraguan, Trojes, and Honduran tobaccos combines to create Alec Bradley’s fullest and most flavorful blend to date. The smoke is buttery-smooth but bold in deep, rich flavors including roasted notes, a dash of pepper, and some coffee nuances. Tasty all around and built with top-notch quality, giving this cigar an amazing ’96’ point rating, in addition to, a 93-rating, two 92-ratings, and three 91-ratings.....oh, and Cigar of The Year honors.
