It all started when Alan Rubin tasted a dark wrapper leaf grown in a region of southern Honduras called Trojes. It was this special 2006 Corojo wrapper that the Prensado blend was built around. Underneath is a flavorful blend of Nicaraguan, Honduran, and additional long-fillers from the Trojes region. The result is a buttery-smooth cigar with deep, rich notes of roasted coffee, leather, chocolate, and subtle red pepper on the finish. Box-pressed in true Cuban tradition, Prensado is the epitome of star status within industry.
