Alan Rubin, founder of Alec Bradley, takes the ‘Puck’ to the net with this one. I'm sure a quick google search will tell me this has nothing to do with hockey, but that's what I'm rolling with. What's more important here is the cigar. Geared towards the value cigar market, Alec Bradley Puck is an attractive, box-pressed beauty comprised of Cuban-sandwich style fillers. Where things get interesting is the Habano leaves used in Puck’s filler are the same tobaccos utilized in some of the brand’s higher priced lines. So while it may be lacking compared to some of Alec Bradley's more premium releases, Alec Bradley Puck lays out the competition mid-ice in terms of value. Covered in a dark and oily Honduran Habano wrapper, Alec Bradley Puck offers up rich notes of espresso, pepper, and cocao.
