It’s, More CUBAN than CUBAN!
…yeah, White Zombie said it best back in ‘94. It went something like that, right? For me, Don Pepin Cuban Classic brings back an old love story. Yes, it was the summer of 2007. How do I remember this more clearly than what I had for breakfast this morning? I picked out this pristine looking cigar off the shelf with a secondary band that read: Cuban Classic. How bad could this one be, I thought? I removed the ribbon from the foot, struck a match, and holy ****! So THIS is a cigar. THIS is what I've been missing. To this day, I still haven't found that signature blast of peppery goodness in any other cigar.
Before making waves within the American market, Pepin was dubbed "Cuba's most productive master roller." He helped blend cigars such as Cohiba, Partagas, and Montecristo throughout the 90s. After moving to Nicaragua in 2001, he established his own company in Miami, Florida. The rest is history. Everyone in the business wanted a piece of the Pepin pie... Ashton, Tatuaje, Padilla, the list goes on. Cuban Classic was the first blend made in his factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. Packed with luscious Nicaraguan tobaccos and finished with a Habano Rosado wrapper, this feisty full-bodied premium offers undeniable hints of earth, toasted cedar and black pepper. A Top 25 Cigar of the Year… check. 92-rated… check. Finished with a classic Cuban ‘triple-cap’… triple check.
Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic 1979 packs of 10 are starting at just $39.99. Bid now on one of the most Cuban-esque blends ever made and save up to 46% off.
