Each year Ernesto Perez-Carrillo introduces a new line to the Short Run series. I know what you’re thinking. This guy must not sleep because he does it all with his cigar brand. His Short Run series is one of the many exquisite cigars in the E.P. Carrillo line up, and this year’s release got a brand new makeover.

E.P. Carrillo Short Run 2016 features a glistening gold band that no other Short Run release has adorned. Wearing an Ecuador Habano wrapper over a blend of Nicaraguan and Criollo ’98 tobaccos found due north of Esteli in Somoto, Short Run 2016 is unique and complex. Available in a limited commodity, this medium to full-bodied cigar delivers notes of cedar, nougat, coffee, and hints of sweetness and pepper throughout.
