It’s time to head south of the border for Rocky’s latest. With all the rave reviews pouring in over this blend I knew I had to whip something special up for the CBID crew to go nuts over. As I’m sure you suspected, this box-pressed gem features a San Andres maduro wrapper. A leaf that so many sought after blends utilize (think Undercrown, Tempus Maduro, La Aroma Mi Amor). Its dark appearance and spicy character make for a unique addition to blend. On the inside, Flor de San Andres packs a bevy of long-fillers from Nicaragua creating a medium-bodied cigar with hints of dark chocolate, leather, and nutmeg.
