What makes the new Reserva Limitada from Pinar del Rio so special? I'll tell you: it uses eight (8!) different types of tobacco to generate a wealth of feisty, satisfying flavors and one amazing cigar experience. An exceedingly complex, full-flavored cigar, dressed in a dark and sultry Dominican Habano wrapper. A thick, leathery leaf used to conceal Nicaraguan long-fillers from Jalapa and Esteli, Dominican Criollo '98 long-fillers, Dominican Corojo long-fillers, and a rare long-filler from the Dominican referred to as Negrita Canca Habano. That wasn't enough for PdR, so two awesome binders were used: a Criollo '98 and a rich Brazilian Habano. As you can imagine, this blend is complex to the core and envelops the palate with a densely rich bouquet. Deep notes of oak, leather and rich tobacco are complemented by hints of coffee bean and toast. The finish is long and distinguished, coating the taste buds with sweet spices after each puff. Both flavor and strength build throughout the burn - in smooth and balanced fashion - completing a full-flavored, medium to full-bodied smoke worthy of your attention.
