The 91-rated Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 is a richly rendered combination of long-leaf ligeros from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. These tobaccos are well-aged and skillfully blended inside a dark and extensively aged 10-year-old Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper then box-pressed to perfection. The smoke is medium in body but full in flavor, dowsing the palate with deep, satisfying nuances. Notes of toasty tobacco, nuts, cream, and leather are delivered in a smooth, balanced fashion and complemented by a long and elegant finish.
