The ’99 Connecticut completes the Rocky Patel Vintage trilogy, an award-winning symphony of tobaccos that has dazzled the cigar industry for some time now. To create this mellow masterpiece, Rocky selected a beautiful 7-year-old Connecticut wrapper that’s light in color and flawless in appearance. This exquisite leaf conceals the same award-winning long-filler blend of 8-year-old Dominican and Nicaraguan long-leaf ligeros. Yes, ligeros, but you should see what this Connecticut leaf lends to the blend. The smoke is hearty and rich with some spices, but the wrapper tames these nuances with a creamy, smooth core....allowing you to appreciate the subtle notes of earth and toasted wood. Like the other Vintage blends, the ’99 Connecticut is a fantastic smoke.
