Absurdly good
Those who pay attention to the boutique side of the industry know the name Matt Booth. He’s most well-known for creating the Camacho and Room 101 brands and working with Davidoff on those blends. But a few years back, he decided to part ways with Davidoff and take leave from the cigar industry. It was short lived. Last year we saw his return with the Room 101 FARCE cigars which has since received a 92-point rating from the critics. This year (2018) we welcomed its follow-up – Room 101 FARCE Connecticut.
While the original FARCE was a medium to full-bodied cigar with an exotic 5-country blend, FARCE Connecticut takes a simpler approach. It uses a golden brown Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf over Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers. They’re being produced in the Dominican Republic by Tabacalera William Ventura, where it seems many high quality boutique cigars are being made lately. It falls in the mellow to medium-bodied range with smooth flavors and very little bite. A great cigar for any time of day.
