It’s been awhile since GB has been this active on the free agent market, especially on the first day of the frenzy. As far as the NYG safety, the Pack needed an experienced player in the backend. Their new DC likes one high safety scheme so being in position is more important than speed. Darnell Savage was fast but often times out of position so time to move on.
The news of Aaron Jones going to Minnesota makes me sad as I would have cheered for him almost regardless of where he ended up. Although I’ll still cheer for him for 15 games, those two games against the Pack will be no-nos.
