Mil Vets, what are you smoking today?

I think I am going to light up an AF Añejo (AFs are the first cigars I smoked with my Dad, retired Air Force) and a Romeo y Julieta CC (cigars I smoked on my three deployments to Afghanistan).

Cheers to all the vets, family of vets, and supporters of vets!

I cheated by a few hours and smoked one last night. Smoked a T52 gifted to me two years ago while on a deployment. Gifted to me by a veteran.

Today, hopefully I'll get to a CQ1.

Had some extra time this morning. Perfect opportunity to burn the Oliva Serie G box pressed robusto gifted to me by Dharbolt! It was an excellent stick. Extremely smooth, did this have some age on it or are they just that good? Box worthy for sure.

Great way to start the day!

Probably burn a Leon Jimines mini on the way home from work here shortly. Not much of a smoke but the twenty minute drive doesn't allow time to enjoy a decent cigar.

Happy Veterans Day

^^nice. I am going to brave the cold tonight. I think I will get the fire pit going. After 3.5 years in Key West, I am not used to temps in the 30's. Brrrrrrrrrrrr

It's Wednesday over here now, so Veteran's Day was yesterday and I had to work. But, tonight I'll be trying out one of the CAO Brazillia Amazon Basins and a randomly selected Padron...

Bennie sounds good. I am totally intrigued with Kwajalein. If you get the chance PM your non cbid email. I would love to pick your brain.

A Tatuaji Tatoo Toro I picked up between Veterans lunch at TGI Friday's and dinner at Hooter's. Add that to snacks at Lone Star Steak House, and it has been an awesome day.

Would have smoked a Liberty 09. Having to wait a couple of weeks for my next smoke and drink.

Specter, looks like you definitely took advantage of the deals out there for vets. I was able to hit On the Border for a free meal but that was all I had time to get to.

Heck ya. I just did not get up for breakfast at Denny's. I am headed to sea for 2 years soon and I am not going to see free food or get to celebrate Veterans day in America for a while. I was impressed that so many places participated. I had a blast, and I got a card from a little girl who wrote a thank you card for Vets with her school, it was touching. The Vet I was with teared up when he read his card.

It has never paid off being a vet till this year, we felt like Treasures instead of protested "baby killers." No freaking Pink army protesting us anywhere I went.
