This is the seventh smoke in a series of 10 mystery sticks from penguin13.

#7 is about a 4.5x50 robusto. Light brown wrapper void of any large veins. Nice color not much sheen. Prelit aroma was kinda like the pimp stick from the other night, but I believe it was just because it rested near it. Aromatics will bleed off onto the others every time.

Prelight draw was easy; lit the end after toasting and this came to life. Good draw; mountains of smoke. After the first 1/4th not much happening but a good steady woody flavor on the mild side. Grassy, dry finish.

Ash was mostly white with some gray here and there. Fell off at about 1.5 inches and seemed to me to be flaky.

Overall a basic mild woody smoke and not much else. On a scale of 1-10 penguins, this rates 5.5 penguins.

What is it?

Seriously, let us wonder until this evening!

Bad Frogs aren't on the ci retail site, but the description isn't quite right.

Penguin, I think you rolled up those leaves that come with the Natural and passed it along to jd as mystery stick #7.

I have never bought a bad frog and if I did...A. I wouldn't admit it. And B. I would not pass it along :) Remember, these are everyday smokes that we have all tried at one time or another. Now, if I said, "JD please try this rolled up A$$ hair wraped in the finest stomach lining"...then it would be a bad frog :)

....This is a premium handmade that is spicy and flavorful and remains an incredible everyday deal!

Thats the only description I can find right now. Any guesses?

With the Indonesian wrapper and the rest DR coupled with jds visual description I would have guessed St. Charles by Torano, but that can't be it because they are on the CI site. I'm stumped (the least of my problems!).

OK, last hint then I'll tell everyone what it is before I leave work. This is an easy hint so one of you will most likely get it....

It begins with the letter "T"

OK, since I'm leaving in 20 minutes, I guess it's time to give out the answer. What JD smoked was none other than......a Tabantillas!! I won a five pack in one of my "lets see how many five packs I can get for under three dollars" phase (AKA Rickamaven Disorder). They're not too bad. Decent everyday smoke. Keep it coming JD :)

Taban-what? Sounds like something you get at TacoBell. I bet these would be better with Fire sauce.

The Tabantillas churchill maduro is actually not too bad. Certainly better than a sharp stick in the eye and I didn't puke.
