I've seen this before. Was gonna buy it but it was a little too much $$$. On the Bucanero site, a similar pic to this in in the "Blends" section. I also have a Buc. t shirt with this on the back... pretty cool...

Lowman --- you're close ... but no cigar.
You are correct in pointing out that the concept is similar, but they are definately not the same. If you notice, Bucanero's image has a mustache and has hispanic features!

I doubt it is even a sculpter, it's probably made from a cast of a person. Then bronzed, like baby shoes.

I do have a good friend that owns a restaurant there called The Abbey...like the one in LA...and yes...he's gay...makes a helluva Sunday brunch!

That's too bad X...I've always had great food there...maybe I went at the right time...try the Naked Cafe in Solana Beach...open for breakfast and lunch only.
