Can anyone review these,or just comment if they are suitable to take to a kids' Bar Mitzvah? His mom,(who I hope to annoy) tells me the kid nubbed a cigar at a Bar Mitzvah two weeks ago. He's a smart kid,and I'd like him to enjoy whatever I bring and early in life decide not to smoke cigarettes.I'm also thinking 'theme',since they live in Sonoma Co.maybe the D.D. Napa Reserve might do it.

And maybe bring something the adults will like.

I would recommend against supplying underagers with cigars, as we suffer enough public villification. Also purposefully annoying people is hardly the way to celebrate a religious event (a Petrus cigar would serve better in that capacity anyhow, being Catholic).

Red,you have to know this woman will be annoying and upset if I attend or not.Since she told me she watched her son smoke a cigar two weeks ago,she may have been giving me a hint. But you know, she's just the type to set me up so she can enjoy the attention of being an outraged mother.I sure hope she doesn't have the first drink at the reception.

First, let me say the king david cigar is a dog rocket. Second give the boy a bond or something of that nature. He is quite young to be smoking. Or you can by the dog rockets and give them to your ex wife.

Thanks to all,I've given thought to the matter and have decided (a)The young man will choose or not choose to smoke the Cuban cigar I'll have on hand.(b)I'll take something good for any of the other family members who'd like a cigar,(c)liquor, lap dances, drugs are out of the question since the boys' mother might drink the booze, preform the lap dances, and do the drugs. As a matter of sentimentality,I may buy the kid some shares in the manufacturer of Trojan prophylactics.

A Jewish girl - lap dance. Does not compute......(especially at a Jewish function). There is a reason I married a shiksa.

Give up on the cigar for the kid - It is a loose - loose proposition or If you want, give the mother the cigar and tell her she could give it to the kid. I doubt she will.

Having attended numerous Bar and Bat Mitzvahs over the past couple of years, I have rarely found any situation where cigar smoking was appropriate at these events. Too crowded and too many kvetching mother-in -laws to contend with. Most of my fellow Jewish guy friends reserve serious herfing for poker nights.

Hence I recommend you front your Bar Mitzvah boy 50 to 100 dollars, give him a poker lesson and a couple King Davids and bring him along for your next Poker game. If mom wants anything to do with that give her the same (yeh sure!!!).

In all probablility, the young man will get sick of all the second hand smoke and vow never to see a cigar until he starts doing poker nights with his buddies in college.
