Has anyone ever tried a Big Butt? If so, how was it?

I am sure you will get many posts to this thread, but IMHO Big Butts are nothing special. I have had worse but I have had a whole lot better too!

"I lie big butts I can't deny..."

I think that song goes something like that! Oh, you weren't inquiring about the song?

Well, if you are talking about the cigar I'd look elsewhere for a smoke. They are good to start fires with, but not much more. Before I found c-bid, I ended up throwing away a handful of them cause that sucked! But, that is just my opinion. There are people that like them, but I am not one of them.

I've smoke several over the years, the most recent of which was a couple of days ago ... passable smoke, but nothing more ...

They do have, as eleltea said, attractive apparel ... t-shirts are fun and the baseball caps appear to be good quality ... I didn't know they had hats, though ... haven't seen one of those yet

What do these cigars have to do with Lunch? I was at my tobacconist and enquiring about them, and the woman behind the counter asked if I wanted to toss her salad?

Rick is known for seeking out good deals. Rick? Coming from someone who's known for being tight, how are Big Butts? Have you ever enjoyed one?

The only cigar I've had that displayed an actual meaty flavor. Very strange, not horrible; but gosh darn it, not good either. Considering the name, you would think that they would be primarily large ring guages. The combo pack that I got (very early in c-bidding), had only one size that cracked the 50 mark as far as I can tell. That's also the only one that comes across at all. All in all, not as bad as a Thomas Hinds.

Robby...give me your snailer (rayder1 at aol dot com)
I'll send you one that's set in the humidor for a while. I have a few stowed away.

I like them....good anytime smoke. I compare them slightly with Macanudo on 1st impression. Pretty mild smoke. Burn well and even. Well made. Haven't had a bad draw. For the price...they are just fine.

heh, thanks for the offer, I'll pass. I just wanted to get some opinions and couldn't resist the title and the myriad of double entendres. :-) Groucho had some cuming and I was interested in what people thought about them. He said he was going to "crack" them open and let me sample one. But it will be a "young big butt" and will (per your post) surely improve with age. There's no Butt like an old butt.
