Does that mean my Padres are officially eliminated from the Series? Our perpetual saying here in San Diego.."just wait til...", well, you know...

It figures I live in NYC for 10 years and soon as I leave there's a Subway Series. GO YANKS Make that smoke a ISOM in respect for the great ISOM pitcher for the Bombers.

Does Torres have the BALLS to pitch Clemmons at Shea??? Will Piazza helicopter his bat at the Rockets dome???Can Chuckie make the throw to the 1st or will it end up in the 20th row for some drunken fan(oops John Rocker Hater). Will Bobby V use one of his disguises to hide from everyone?

Torre does not need to pitch Clemens at Shea stadium. His turns in the rotation will be at Yankee stadium. I have been a Yankees fan since the day I was born even though I live in Colorado. I still fondly remember the game Reggie Jackson hit 3 HRs. against LA like it was yesterday. Torre though it one hell of a manager , at least for the Yankees, for biased as I am, I can admit that on paper this Yankees team doesn't look so hot and they have many more chinks in the armor this year than in past. I wish they would use Jose Canseco more, another personal bias.

You know going into this season I said "dear God let anyone get to the World Series except those damn Yankees". Once again I'm convinced that God is a Yankee's fan. My Dodgers will be there next year. Now that we have Davey Johnson out of the way perhaps we'll get a real manager like Pinella or Dusty Baker. Bring back Lasorda!!!

Yes, zbindenm, I did say "crush" it wasn't a typo :) Yanks will win in 4 or 5. Nolan (Ryan?), the smoke was a Hemmingway Short Story, the ISOM's are reserved for the World Series victory. aberdeen, paper schmaper. Yanks are fired up and will win quickly. The Mets are a good team, and I won't deny them that, maybe even a better team statistically than the Yanks this year, BUT, the Yanks are pressure players and the Mets crack like a dry brittle cigar wrapper. gsu_guy_21, yes the Yanks are God's team. The 98 Yanks was God's team, they were infallible, but the 2000 Yanks are God's cruel joke ;) tailgater, too f'n funny! Believe it or not, my number two team is Boston (and that's BLASPHEMY for a Bronx native!)

Being a native of Washington State, and a avid Mariners fan, it was very hard to listen to all this stuff about a subway series. For crying out loud, the series wasn't even over yet. I'm proud of the Mariners and what they acomplished this year. They gave all they had to the last out. Maybe next year. If anybody ever gets out to Seattle during Baseball season, go see a game at Safeco Field. Great stadium. A nice place to watch a game. All that said, Go METS!!!

mY 2 Cents worth: Now Dont Laugh, LOLOL I wish both teams out there on the east a good time and Great Ball Playing.. I am a CUB Fan Have been for Life..No Not a Silent one (well at least not all the time) I got clear away from BaseBall because of my Sacrid Cub's and raising a family, But then when my Son started into little league I picked back up on watching the games with him.. and going to all his games. and then becoming an Assistant couch for there team.. I really enjoyed those days and getting back to the Team I Paid allot of hard earned cash out of my pocket as growing up In Il. and we have the Cards also.. I ended up losing allot of Money LOL..Then the other Day I listen to these guys at work talking sh-T about there own Cards.. I'm thinkin Well if the Cubs were there I wouldn't be saying nothing like this It would be hey 50 bucks Says the Cubsa are Comin Back tonight and I would take it in Stide if they Didn't.. But there Still My Team!!!! Maybe Next Year LOLOLOL

Yanks in 5, Bobby V out 5 days after that. Sorry to see it end this way, but hey, everyone has to go through the YANKS sooner or later. What a great time for NY. I love it! I can hear Justices' ball smashing off that rotten apple, out in right at Shea. What a dump.
