Almost finished with a Gran Belicoso that was gifted to me by Mr. Mean last Thanksgiving. It got lost in the bottom of the Humidor and I just discovered it this evening.

I've smoked a few of the Black Pearls but one with a few more months in the humidor is downright excellent. No bite or edge to it at all but the flavor is still very rich without being too sweet. A pleasure to smoke, smooth and rich taste, even burn with lots of smoke, long gray ash, finish is long and pleasant.

Love the Black Pearl...that is a fine cigar, one that can be purchased here for a reasonable price. I agree with you that humidor time takes some edge off while leaving the flavors. Yum. I'll smoke one tomorrow, now that you've mentioned it.

What an odd coincidence ... I was just talking about these cigars this afternoon in a conversation with Turnberry ... so, after dinner, when I saw one lurking in the humidor, I pulled it out and set fire to it ... about 1/2 gone right now and just as good as I remember 'em being and just as good as all of you guys are saying ... mmmmmm
