Hi all,
Am still trying out new cigars and am having a blast.
Just finished a Padron2000 maduro and all i can say is WOW!! Still nursing the burnt fingers from smoking this one too far!
I'm trying different smokes and so far prefer the maduros. Most of what i buy is online because my local cigar shop is 80 miles away round trip and dont find much time to go.So,this being said,i'd like to know if you all have any suggestions on a good smoke, with maduro wrapper,to try.
Trying to find smokes i like before buying whole boxes and then finding out it is crap.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

Onyx Reserve. Reasonable price if you want an everyday maduro smoke that's tasty. Anything maduro by Padron.

You should try Dirt from Drew Estate. It is a good cigar with a maduro wrapper. They are also a reasonably priced smoke. If you like the Dirt, then you can begin your journey to finding Drew Estate cigars of all sorts and sizes.!!good luck

I'm a big fan of the La Gloria Cubana Wavell Maduro (Box of 25 for about $60) and also the El Credito Rothschild Maduro(box of 25 for about $40). The El Credito is supposedly a factory second of the Wavell, but other than the slightly lighter wrapper, I think it's comparable. Both are excellent.

May I suggest two of my favorites: the Avo Maduro for a more mild-medium smoke and, of course, the Bucanero Classic Maduro or Primero Maduro. This one is an outstanding smoke with some nice spice and real character.

Hope that helps - enjoy.

I also like maduros, especially the Pardons. I have found that the Punch Rothchild Maduros (and Oscuro or double maduros) are very nice. If you get a chance to smoke a Cohiba XV (extra veija), don't pass it up.
Enjoy!

El Rey Del Mundo Robusto Largas, Astral TVS, Excalibur Prensado Oscuro are some of my favorite maduros.

I'll second the Onyx Reserve (mini-belicoso) and the LGC Wavell. Both very tasty. La Luna is a good smoke and can be purchased here pretty cheap.

Enjoy!

Try the Padrons in Natural as well. Nice to compare, both fantastic. And if you can get your hands on the Padron Maduro Magnum, you will NOT be sorry. Amazing cigar.

CAO maduros are excellent, HDM Excaliber No. 1 is good, anything from Padron are excellent, Santa Panza double maduros are very good as well.

Just buy some 5-packs and try as many as you can to see what you like.

Forgot to mention the La Perla Habana Maduros...any vitola, they're all good. Give them a bit of time (at least a month) in the humidor. They smoke great at low humidity...my preference.

Also, I highly recommend the Cuesta Rey Pyrimade #9 Maduro. Boxes of ten can be gotten here for pretty cheap, so they're worth bidding on (the natural in this vitola is not so good, so stick with the maduro).

All the suggestions here are great ones. I just want to reemphasize the Padrons, the Onyx Reserves and definitely CAO Maduros. Another good one is the Partagas Black Label.

I second the Cuesta Rey #9 Maddies. A bit high when compared to the other suggestions but certainly worth what you would pay for them here.

In the realm of more reasonably priced stogies, I really like the Maria Mancini Maduros.
