That's about the spiciest stick I've tried so far. I rather enjoyed it and was wondering how it rates with this forum crew.

Are these the Don Tomas Corojo?

I've had them but found they are a little too mild. Holding the rest for a future trade with another poster on these boards. Can't remember his name without doing a search through my email, but they will sit until he's ready.

That would be me :)...I got a new Humidor so I have the room now, I just need something to trade with :) They are a very nice smoke. I haven't graduated to the "kick my A$$" cigars yet. These are just right, not too mild with just the right umph.

Ahh. Penguin13 stated it the way I meant it.

I guess I haven't smoked enough to know what is FULL-bodied and what is Medium, etc. (although the CAO Brazilia Samba made the ground move at about 1/2 way through)

How about some feedback?

Name 4 cigars that would meet the following ratings.
Mild,
Medium,
Full,
TKO
I'll try them and establish my own version of each.. and I know everyone's taste is different.

I'm guessing you mean one for each category. For me, mild would be RyJ - Love the regular line. Medium - CAO Black or Oliva "O" which leans towards full. Full - PAMs or 5000 maduro. And TKO - JDNA or the Diesel.

Love em all at different times.

I have to agree with the JDNA. Pheww...that is one powerful smoke, but very tasty. I couldn't smoke that one every day but it's a great weekend smoke. (Thanks Jd for introducing me to it :)

I'll agree with HarleyDave on the RyJ for milds, though I must say, if you can part with the cash, nothing beats a Davidoff for a smooth, creamy and mild smoke. As far as Mediums, I trade off between the Avo Domaine and the Bucanero Maduros. I don't get much into the real full-bodied smokes either, though the CAO L'anniversary Camaroons are a strong medium to full and taste great after a nice meal.

That's my 2 cents.

BTW, Penguin - what is the JDNA? I've never tried that one...

So the DT corojos don't 'kock you around' like they say in the ad?

Gideon - Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970. The first one I tried was gifted to me by the wonderful and extremely generous jd1. It's pretty powerful! If you like strong smokes or are looking to sample one, this would be it. You can't beat the price.

gideon if you're interested in trying a JDNA and getting your socks knocked off email me at HarleyDave3565 at Yahoo dot com with your snailer and I'll send you out one next week. Just remember to be sitting down while smoking it. I would be responsible for you passing out and hitting your head on something. ;-)
