anyone have one of these? can one really fit 500 'gars in it? if so, what is the ratio that can be loose vs. put in boxes?

more info here... --> http://www.cigarbid.com/...on/lot.cfm?lotID=106797

thanks in advance

I don't own it but I would bet money that it can probably hold 500 robustos, definitely not 500 churchills. That's how every humidor description is. Go for a coolerdor man!! Mine holds about 500 right now, and if I stuff it probably 700-800. Much cheaper, and it regulates humidity and temperature better. Do a search, there's even pictures of mine...

cw, so do i need to have the cigars in a cedar box in the coolerdor? most of the radom stuff i have right now is loose and not in a box. i could go get some boxes real cheap ($.50) each from the local shop i suppose and do it that way.

Look on the picture post, I topped the pictures of my coolerdor...

You need spanish cedar in there, but not necessarily surrounding them.

Until I get around to lining mine proper like, I just use old cigar boxes. Works like a charm.

nice looking unit and the price is clearly favorable ... it would seem AM of Seattle scored a real buy ...

But, as CW points out, you could set up a nice coolerador for a lot less and spend the difference on cigars ...
