I hope to be smoking plenty of celebratory cigars in the coming week... When the Clemens hits pretty boy, Piazza, with another to the Rocket to the melon... When Cone throws a shut out in Shea... When the Yankees win their third World Series in a row... each time Knoblach hits a fan with an errant throw.... someone get me an O2 bottle I'm going to need it!!!

Piazza? Puh-leez! Piazza is quite possibly the WORST catcher/defensive player in MLB today (except for maybe the entire St. Louis defense.. ;) Like I said before, Yanks win in 4 or 5. Why? Because sometimes, God is just plain sadistic :)

I gotta go with the Yanks...I was chanting "spank the yanks" back in '98 at Qualcomm Stadium...didn't work for my Padres. The Yanks are the baseball gods and NO ONE is worthy! I've met pizza boy at a fundraiser 2 years ago, nice guy, but my fav catcher is the king! Where's Leyritz??? Still in LA? Haven't seen him in awhile. I was at a private party after the '98 series and that was the last I saw of him, Brown and a few others. Ok, I'm side-tracked yearning for the Padres dreamteam...GO YANKEES!

Esplendido, You are right the king is with the Dodgers, he went from the Yanks to the dodgers at the end of June. What a game last night!!!
