Won a five pack of both the L400 and L500s. Tried one of the L400...elements of bitter, almost sour taste, had to relight halfway through..wholly unimpressive..I attribute that to needing some time in the box...the other thing I noted was that a number of them had pits, and, in one instance, a crater of missing tobac in the foot...has anyone else noted qual control issues with the ligero?

I've not noticed anything so far in the half dozen L300 and L400 I've smoked. No sour taste either, just some full-bodied tobacco with a creamy taste and just a touch of sweet, richness in the smoke. These build from the beginning to the end.

Max,
Haven't tried one yet but I've heard some good feedback and the gar looks pretty darn good... Looking forward to it.

Damn Low, one of those got in there? LOL
You know. Each taste is different; I just don't detect what some to. For me, these are one of the smokes I go to when I don't quite want an Antano '70.
