Hey Marla,

I guess Rancho Penasquitos qualifies as San Diego. I was thinking of the same thing and there are some of my work buddies who'd also be interested.

Email is egruff (at) pacbell (dot) net

Marla,

Keep me on your info circulation list. I do get into that area pretty frequently on business (and it is balmier than Seattle) so if one of those trips clicks with your dates I would love to to join in.

like eleltea, I dunno if I live in a surrounding area or not, but SD is a short plane hop and a not too long drive from SF ... like Turnberry, I'd like to know when you're having one of these get togethers and see if my schedule permits ... SD is one of my favorite cities ...

Nice to see the interest!

I know that Charles (better known as titlerep1) is planning on getting together the Orange Co. guys for a herf here in San Diego on 5/31 at Hemingway's Fine Wine & Cigar Bar in Old Town San Diego.

I talked to the owner on Sunday and he glad to hear about it.

Anyone that is ABLE to make it, should...Look for the OC Herf threads here for more specifics...I think it'll start about 630ish.

I will try to schedule several herfs throughout this summer. Hopefully, some of you outta towners' travel plans will concur.

Email me if you plan to be in the area this summer (or any time really) at

marlapf excite ( add the @ . com where applicable)

I also want to try to get a deepsea fishing trip together...I just hate to go to Mexico to do it. But majority rules...LMK

Hi E-Chick,

I wish I could make it to Hemmingway's on 5/31. That's my birthday, but I'm in NYC on business until 6/3. I'd love to make it to a herf afterwards, so let me know what ya'll are planning. I live in Mira Mesa so keep me updated please.

I'd sure like to make it on Saturday, but the wife and I are taking a group out on our sailboat all afternoon. I know what my wife's response to a cigar herf would be and I can't print it here ;-p

If we get home early enough, I'll leave her with the kids and head back down to Old Town.

If not, I'm definitely in for events this summer. LMK if I can help.

Yes, I've had the same thought. Now if only I could convince my cigar-hating wife to let me bring some smoking friends onto our boat...
