Back in April and May, myself and others ranted against the above mentioned cigar. If anyone cares to get the inf., try this link: http://www.cigarbid.com/...play=0000000000217#963. - ANYWAY, after having sat in my 'dor for nearly six months I smoked one yesterday, I feel that this stick needs some justification, so here we go. V Centenial Churchill Maduro is one helluva first class Premium cigar to look at - and feel. Very dark, moist and oily maduro wrapper. An absolute beauty in my eyes. When lit, the draw was easy and it had an even burn ('til it was almost a nob) with IMO the usual great maduro taste (Dos Rios, Mac Duke of Dev). I didn't have to relight it, but due to the thick, delicious, rich wrapper it almost began to tunnel. But just almost. My experience with other maduros (again Dos R Box Pr Mad), these sticks needs a little more intense puffing to keep the wrapper well lit and burning. All in all, a whole different and good experience this time. I'd almost rank it up where the Dos R.'s are ranked. V Centenial Ch. Mad, with some aging is a good smoke. And it's usually cheap. Obviously Maduro smokes needs to be smoked differently than "ordinary" ones. Keep this in mind and the V Cent are as good a smoke as any.

I'll have to disagree with you on this one, Hansen. I've tried two seperate boxes of V Centennial churchill maduros, several months apart, and they all have been way too tight. It's true that they are an attractive cigar, with a fine taste, but, far too difficult to keep lit, and too much work to draw. I've shared a few with freinds, only to find the 3/4 butt the next day in the ash tray. Maybe V has adjusted for this, or maybe I got an anomoly. I liked the taste, and would try again if others can support your opinion.

If you act quickly you can get 'em right now on the quickie board for $41.00, and then report back on the quality of the current issue.
