I HATE the Lakers...with a passion. Almost as much as I hate the Knicks. Does anybody remember Shaq forcing the LA people to chant '4' after they won their 3rd last year? 4 what Shaq?

I knew the Spurs would win this series...Duncan is unreal right now, and they play as a team...so he has some support. With the Lakers, if you shut down one of the two superstars, you have them beat.

I would really like to see the Kings win, since Webber is one of my favorite players to watch...maybe he can come back and play in a later series. However, the Sixers is my team, and I am pushing for them all the way. I think they should have already beaten Detroit, and can handle the Nets in 6.

I hate basketball, so the sooner it is over the better. Thought they Lakers would figure some way to pull it out, but not to be.

I'm not a Laker's fan, or really much of an NBA fan (being a Cavs fan will do that to you), but I do kind of enjoy watching the Laker's win. I don't like them or their players, but its very amusing to me to watch them not do anything for most of the season, then basically win when they feel like it. But by the same token, it doesn't really bother me that they lost either.

I like basketball, but don't care much for the NBA ... for the most part, all I see when I DO look at a game is a glorified street-ball game ...

However, I'm a NCAA basketball fan ...and will follow some of the players I've come to appreciate ... Tim Duncan being a prime example ... the guy's a class-act ... he and one of those Sixers that i.am.steve mentioned were neck and neck during college years as being MVPs ... gotta admit, Tim's the man, even though Keith Van Horn played at my Alma Mater ... I saw Jason Kidd for the first time when he was a freshman ... in high school. He seemed like a man among boys even at that level ... saw a very memorable game between Kidd's HS team and that of the Lakers Mark Madsen ... a real barn-burner..

But I gotta agree with Charlie ... too much and too long ... let's get 'em off the TV and see some baseball .

Has anyone else noticed that Tim Duncan resembles Colin Powell? They could pass for father and son IMHO!

Being a 40 year Laker fan I'm sorry to see them eliminated. But for a real skill game I like the WNBA or Ladies college hoops. A much better ballhandleing and control game.
