I'm renting a bike and going on a group ride this Friday in the North GA mtns. I was thinking about clenching a gar and gnawing on it while riding. Anyone have any feedback/suggestions? I'm thinkin this thing will get pretty chewed up, so I don't want to chaw on an Opus or anything. I'll probably take a robusto to smoke on a break as a separate gar.

Try some Hava Tampa's. A cheap machine made with a wooden tip. X

Lot's of folks recently referenced the "dos capas" or double wrapper of the Bohemian Revolution as being particularly durable and a good chewing stick. I've got a box of robustos and can send you a couple if you'd like. Send your snailer to: wer (At) rice (dOt) edu

oops, even with fed-ex they wouldn't get there by this Friday -- but the offer still stands if you want some for future excursions.

Thanks, you don't want to Delta Dash them? I could run down to Heartsfield? :-)

Lone Wolf Churchill should do the trick.

I am with wer; the dos capas would be my first choice. Heck as durable as they are you could probably smoke it when you break - BUD

Sorry Robby. I'm saving my miles for a much needed getaway. Too bad, I was thru ATL only a couple weeks ago. Enjoy the biking and be sure to wear your helmet (god knows we wouldn't want you to hit your head and have the sense knocked back into you - j/k).
