Can anyone tell me anything about these? Anything good or bad would be appriecated. A local store has these for $10 to $12 a stick. I read up on these but want somemore feedback. The same store sold Opus X for less. I thought that was wierd. Thanks in advance

They got a box of 15 on Cbid right now. The price is at $163. That is less than $12 a stick.

I hear great things.
I have 2 sitting in the humi, 1 nat. 1 Mad., waiting for the proper time. I got them for my birthday, and am looking for the perfect time, so I can devote my undivided attention. If it lives up to it's billing, it will be worth the wait. I'll post a review when I get the time to enjoy them.

They are pricy, but a well constructed cigar (one of the best I've ever seen) ... and they are mild to medium, but excellent toasty flavor profile.

Buy one ... and you won't be disapponted.

I have had several. They are great!!!
They are pricy, but a great cigar usually is.
Well built, great draw, smooth construction, mild to medium I'd say.

I never have a problem getting them in the Dallas area, but the folks at the cigar shop do say that it is a difficult smoke to come by.

Diamond Crown is an excellent Fuente made cigar. They are pricey, but consistent.

AWESOME !!!! Fantastic Construction, great even burn, creamy smoke - cigar almost smokes itself - Dbl Fermented Wrapper - Smokes like a dream - the only drawback is that the taste is a bit light for me - but, I use these as the perfect "Change of Pace" Cigar - early afternoon when you need to reaffirm that Life is Good. Then move on to the full taste sticks from that Island South of....

Diamond Crown cigars are made by the Newman Family ...

http://www.arturofuente.com/family_newman.html

With nearly 200 years combined of making cigars, the Fuente and Newman families (who have partnered) are two of the oldest cigar families in the world. From the Fuentes’ early days of rolling cigars in Tampa’s Ybor City, to the Newman’s founding in Cleveland back in 1895, their families have a rich cigar heritage that spans four generations, each.

The J.C. Newman Cigar Company is oldest family owned cigar company in America, and has been manufacturing and distributing quality, premium cigars and cigar accessories for over 104 years.

I've had two in the last few months. I agree that its a creamy, well constructed cigar. If it had a bit more richness/fullness of flavor, it might be worth it. If your taste is for more mild, then this one's a winner. In my mind, its the ultimate morning cigar, but not quite rich or full bodied enough to by my after dinner treat like an ISOM, Anni, Opus, "O", or Punch Gand Cru.

My local shop owner says some people call the Diamond Crown "The West Coast Opus" because they are very similar in construction and ingredients but the east coast gets most of the Opies and the west coast most of the Diamond Crowns. Makes a good story.

I agree with Doc, the #7 Torpedo is my favorite. I prefer it in the natural but the maddie is good as well so personal preference rules on that choice.

The comments above about construction quality are right on. These are a thing of beauty, so well made you sort of hate to fire 'em up. To me, seems to be about a medium bodied smoke.
