It was a busy holiday weekend, but I managed to sneak a 'gar in each day. Here was my Memorial Day weekend lineup.

- Bucanero on Friday
- Macanudo Duke Of Wellington on Saturday
- Acid Kuba Kuba on Sunday
- La Rosa Especial Mi Favorita on Memorial Day

Today was the first La Rosa that I've ever had. What a pleasant surprise.

I started the weekend off with a CAO Maduro Tubo No. 2 on Friday.
Saturday I had a Gurkha Ltd Edition toro.
Sunday I had a Fonseca Maduro and tried the Hoja de Niucaragua, which I ended up throwing away not even 1/10 of the way into it.
Today I had an AVO XO and boy was it good!

For me, it was a GREAT Holiday Weekend without a weak link in the lineup ... scaling back after this bunch will be no easy thing and frankly, I'm wishin' there were a way I could live like this all the time.

*Mayorga HO
*Joya de Nicaragua Antano Gran Consul
*Perdomo Regente maduro
*ToraƱo Exodus Silver robusto
*HdM Pesenado Oscuro
*Genuine Counterfeit Cuban torp (more than a year in the humi didn't hurt this one at all)
*Padron 3000
*Monte #5 - Habano (almost a year in the humi, that bad boy is still burnin' right now, although down to the last 3/8" ... and it's still one damn fine smoke!! What a fine way to end a pleasant and memorable holiday

Well, since you asked........
Thursday I had back surgery and I couldn't even taste a cigar till Sunday. At that point I went with the two most prominent selections in my humidors -- Don Douglas Tambor Beli's and Nicaraguan Factory Corojos (these from Lew). Both excellently priced smokes and very good tasting as well. I wish I could measure up to some of you guys but things could be a lot worse.

I have been out of work with a back problem. I have had time to smoke so here is my list starting with Friday night.
CAO eXtreme Churchill
Saturday
Padron 5000 Maddie
CAO Brazilia Samba
Sunday
Carlos Torano Blue Label Torp... half way and in the trash replaced with a CAO Cameroon Toro
CAO Crillo Mancha
Monday
Padron 64 maddie torp
CAO eXtreme tubo II
I am fairly new to cigars, but after reading this list I seem to be a one dimensional smoker. I try different cigars and I find a lot I don't like but I do know what I like. I Like CAO's.... Padrons a good too...

Went out to the Oregon Coast with friends.
Friday gave my occassional herfing buddy an Natural Anni Exlusivo to help him understand what a good cigar was all about, while I enjoyed a Hemi Classic.
Saturday, I enjoyed the richness of an "O" Ole and Sunday, I picked up an IT Cameroon classic in a 5" perfecto size and savored it by the campfire. While I was away, a 5 pack of OpusX Super Beli's arrived in the mail and when I returned home on Monday one of those Opuses was a great finale to my weekend.

Spent most of the weekend moving into the new house but managed a nicely aged Buc maddie torp; partagas corona ISOM, and the night we got everything moved in; an OpusX #4 (8 months of age) followed with some Henessey XO.

Sunday:

HdM ISOM - very nice smoke, but still prefer the ISOM Monte #2...

C.A.O. 65 - I think I need to stock up on these bad boys! MMM-mmm-mmm!

Monday:

BTL - my first (gifted from Bruce for my b-day), but I planned on smoking an ISOM Monte #2 and one of the VSG's from the birthday club...

unfortunately, I didn't feel well enough and had to call it a night after the BTL...but let me tell you! It was a damned fine smoke! I wonder which is harder to come by, the ISOM Monte #2 or the BTL??? They are my favs by far!
