... no cigar for me this evening for this relative newbie :(

Wife has laid down the law - gotta smoke outside. Unfortunately, the weather is just not cooperating today.

I envy you guys who can smoke indoors.

I've always smoked outside and showered afterward as to not affect our youngest who is allergic to everything it seems, but air...

Most of my smoking is at night on the patio in solitude accompanied by an occasional friend, dog, or libation; not necessarily but sometimes in that order or any combination thereof. Batteries not included.

I Love my screened in porch,
But my living room works, as does my home office, as does the bathroom, kitchen, my bedroom, and the 2 spare bedrooms.
I LOVE being single, especially since my current girlfriend, LIKES the smell of good cigars. She hates the smell of the light ones, Macanudo types, but loves the smell of Padron, CAO, Perdomos, and A.Fuentes. Most of the med.-to Full bodied smokes, she likes. The rest she would rather I go onto the screened in porch for. But since my preferences run that way anyway, haven't had to go outside yet.

I also am in the smoke-outdoors-shower catagory, due to an asthma lad...my sanctum is a patio under the deck; when it rains, I spread plastic on the deck to provide some cover...the rogue drop, filtered through the arsenic-treated deck lumber, that lands in my Famous Grouse only accentuates the peatiness...I face the glass slider, through which I can see the TV, and pipe the sound through all-weather Advent speakers...I have a seat cushion that is battery powered and has heat and massage settings...on especially cold or snowy nights, I fire up the cast iron chiminea..on especially clear nights, I can track Orion's belt, which appears just over my neighbor's roof to the SSW..and, occasionally, a jet leaving Andrews AFB will thunder by...usually just a tanker, but I still stand and salute, because, at night, it could be the boss!
God Bless America.

You obviously live in the DC area like me. I am in Falls Church.

Where are you located?

Bowie, Md., in the heart of Prince Georges County, where the cops may not shoot straight, but they shoot often. Yet another day of rain. Mold everywhere. The only time in recent memory that I've had to protect my cigars from the moisture. Oh well, at least the mosquitos are enjoying it.
