Greetings All,
Finally! Got everything setup at the new house including ADSL - Today! Sure have missed you All - Including you Slim! =)

So, what in the heck is up with all the Newbies? Don't recognize half the people here??? Been out of the loop for only a few Months =)

Since I posted under cigar related, I want to discuss an issue regarding an incredible cigar - Cuaba.

Had the good fortune of finding a few of them at the local shop and Oh, My God - What an icredible gar!!!!

Also, I need some advice - Looking for some mild to medium gars. Any Suggestions?

Regards,

B

Welcome back! Yup the board is full of newbies, but we all were newbies once, so its OK!!! Still agreat bunch of folks!

I have been smoking a lot of the Drew Estate lines. Have been diggin' the IP, La Vieja Habana's the Natural lines... and of course the ocassional Partagas or Monte.

As far as a mild to med recommendation, I always go back to what's been good in the past! When is the last time you smoked an Avo Domaine, what a great mild stick! The AVO XO Maestoso isn't bad either...

Light one up and you will remember why you smoked them in the first place!

Just my humble opinion.

Nice to see you back!

Cheers,

PT ;-)

Ropeman - My Brother - Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

Great Pics - You do know that the camera adds about 20 pounds to you - right?? Ha. Ha. That plus the German Bier, Schnitzle, spatzler, etc. etc. etc.

Thanks for Sharing!

Bill,

Wecome back Billy! Glad everything is A-1. I have had a couple Cuabas. The ones I had were shaped. Loose draw and a fast burn. The tobacco was most excellent though. Classic Cuban, no question. Mild smokes.....Punch Gran Cru is mild yet flavorful!

Welcome back. I have missed the smithbw posts on here. I was at a cigar tasting last night and they had some excellent mild to medium cigars.

Cuesta-Rey Centenario Domican Pyramid #9
-- Mild but oh so nice. Added Brazilian leaf for taste
La Unica Cameroon Series Belicoso #3
-- Cameroon wrapped excellence. Medium strength

The rep was terrific and was also a Fuente rep so I picked his brain clean of information.

Welcome back

Welcome back Billy. Nice to see you are free to join the masses once again. Yes there are some new faces here. (look back about a month ago and you'll see a few had to be calmed down a bit....a few came out like a pit bull after a mailman) But I think everyone has settled into enjoying the lighter side again.

Fatshotbud - March - Has it "Really" been that long? Wow!

X - Yep - That is a Great Compliment in my neck of the woods...What did you think about the Cohiba Reserve?

rayder1 - Wow! It seems like I missed a battle (or Two) around here...Hate it when that happens... =)

JustDanD - thanks for the tip on the mild ones. I have about burned out my palete. Too Many Havanas - If there is such a thing... =)

xrundog - I love the Cuaba but you are right it seems to burn fast but the "Flavor and Complexity" - Incredible...What about the cheese cake gars? Did you get 'em? How's the shoulder? Thanks for the tip on the punch - have not tried that one, yet! =)

Sure is good to be back....

Regards,

B

My Brothers:

Jerry - I smell a trade comin on...Ha. Ha. I have some Boli's that I "Finally Dug Out" of the coolador. Totally, Totally, Totally - Plumed. BTW: The Liberty smoked me - instead of me smoking it! =) Great Gar!!!

Mike - I am still using the "Awesome" books that you sent as references. Although, all the AF SS are all gone...Is this yet another trade in the works =)

Robby - There is no Frickin Way that I am going to post a pic of my puny humidor. Why? So you can ridicule it and make snide comments. Everyone knows that you got the "Plumidor" and no one can compete against that! =) BTW: I smoked the last XXO - Got any more =)

I know that you all got my email address - Let me hear from you!

Billy;

Welcome back. I have been slowly but surely working on those sticks you sent me. I loved that Perdomo2 maduro belicoso. Smooth and delicious and butt-kicking strong. Am putting together a little package for you. Email me your address again.

Oh, about the smoke. The Indian Tabac Limited Reserve, they are medium strength and have great flavor. I like the Buffalo or Bison. :>)

Welcome Back Billy,
I am hoping to welcome you to the Birthday Club, as well. There is a vote going on, with about 40% counted, you have a landslide going, 100% of returned ballots in favor.
