OK, we all saw the previous threads about what ya'll were going to smoke for Father's Day. So now that the day is here, what's getting torched?

My day started with an Indian Tobac Fire Robusto,
followed by a Cuban 1998 Monte #4,
folowed by a Cuban Boli PC.
Next?

Barry

p.s. All my kids have fur or feathers so I had to buy my own gifts.

so far a La Luna nat fuerte fina colada. Not sure what comes next...lots of good choices. My daughter bought me a very cool bourbon glass. Sometime tonight I'll be taking that out for a test drive with some Evan Williams.

Just got back from Lower Alabama. I am proudly clenching an Anejo Dark Shark between my teeth :-) This will be followed by Either a Padron 1926 or an Opus and finally, I think a Cohiba 2001 Special Edition torp.

I never had any kids, unfortunately, so I do not rate a Habano today. Smoking a La Escepcion IV Tapa Negra, the 48 ring one. Once they dry out a little, they are a really good smoke. Happy Father's Day to all you mothers.

Nice line-up. I'm in the same situation as you. Married 23yrs, no kids except for ones with fur or feathers.

I still celebrate Fathers Day. Today I had a Astral TVS Churchill, a Gurkha Regent Corona Gorda, and a PAM Toro.

Happy Fathers Day Guys!.....:>)

I'm not a father ... and never will be ... not in the biological sense, anyway ...

But I visited my father, who doesn't smoke cigars ... but accepts the things I truly enjoy in this life.

I consider him the best father one could ever be blessed with ... and we have been through a lot in our lives.

I started the day with a Bucanero el Capitan Reserva 'Peg Leg' ...

... and right now ...

... I'm enjoying the first Arturo Fuente Hemingway Classic Sun-Grown I've ever smoked.

I thought ... what better way to honor my father, and what better occasion to smoke one of the rarest Fuente's ever developed ... than on the day he became my father.

I couldn't think of a better tribute ... to a one of a kind father, and one of a kind cigar.

started off with two 30 cent cigars. by gift to myself was to have the back door turned so it would open in, so i can put a up security door.

by having the back door turned and putting up a security door, i mean writing a check to the carpenter.

went right to a 50 cent cigar and a fresh cup of coffee.

i will finish the afternoon (ending at 10:00 pm at my house) ith a bohemian revolution hawkeye.

when toby and i watch a movie this evening (starting at 11:00 pm) i will smoke mostly 50 cent cigars.

if i am still awake when the sun gets up, i will go outside. sheba will go to the toilet and i will smoke a victor mundi bohemian.

Me? I too have no children and never will - so I did not smoke any today.

However, I am very happy for those fathers who lit them up today and celebrated their special day.

I did call my dad today and, among other things, received a health lecture on why I should give up cigars. I love the old man but their is nothing worse than a reformed cigarette smoker. He still thinks of his 44 year old son as a teenager.

Like a few others here, I don't have any kids, but like Slim I have a great father and he managed to raise 6 boys. He deserves some of the best I've got just for surviving.LOL

Mag, how did you know I've been married 23 years (this Aug.) also? LOL

Finished the evening by nubbing A PAM Exclusivo.

Got a wonderful gift from the wife to start the day. My oldest daughter got me a travel alarm with the graduation photo I posted here. My youngest (6) got me a Super Soaker.. got herself one too. Her's lights up and makes noise.

Started the day with a Partagas Black Label Magnifico. A Petrus Fortus and a Cupido Criollo Commandante got me through cleaning the garage. Finished with an 858 SG on the porch with my wife. She had a Cuesta Rey Centenario #60 maduro.

Life is good as a dad. (My dad left my mother and 5 boys, got married and raised her kids as his own. Wasn't celebrating him.)

I had my first Cohiba Reserva Seleccion Piramide. Quite possibly the best Habano I've ever had. It started out Med-full in strength and then into full at about 1/3 into it. A mix of strength and flavor. I'll be on the look out for more. X

I am a father of three sons. Two of my boys washed, vacumed and cleaned the windows in my Durango. This was a great gift because I am recovering from back surgery and cant do it myself. The other guy gave me one of those ozone air cleaners for the car. My father has been gone for four years know and I still miss him very much. He raised four kids and worked 2-3 jobs doing it. He could fix anything and he taught me a lot.
In his honor I smoked a CAO Brazilia churchill size. I love these. Then had the best bear stew ever and I finished off with a CAO Criollo mancha. I came home to a chicken barbecue. What a great day !!!
Happy Fathers Day to everyone.
