Hey everyone! Just as I find my perfect mellow cigar, buy a box from cigarbid, by a bunch a 5 packs, smoke the box, and smoke the five packs and low and behold I can't find the things anywhere! I have a substantial amount of full bodied cigars I would like to maybe trade. Can anyone help in finding another couple of boxes of Sirius, Neptune, etc.

You might want to put your request up on the 'TRADES' board ... ;^)

You seem to have fallen for a discontinued cigar. Pleiades was made by Manufactura de Tabacos (MATASA), S.A.(makers of Cubita, Licenciados, Casa Blanca, some Nat Sherman and Fonseca) in the Dominican Republic. The binder and filler were Dominican with a very light Connecticut wrapper. These were expensive light-bodied, and very mild. Manuel Quesada, the head man of MATASA, sees to it that his people make fine cigars. Without Pleiades available, your best best is Casa Blanca for a similar taste profile.

Thanks for the info - I have done a bit of investigation and I found a Pleiades ad in a recent French Cigar Magazine. Unfortunatly I don't speak French and there were no obvious signs of how to contact them. I'm told they're still available in Europe.

SA: If you post your e-mail address, I will send you a European source for these cigars. Steve
