I finally got a 5 pack of these and wanted to comment. It took 20 minutes to get this thing burning well as it appeared at the beginning the Maduro "stripe" was burning slower than the rest of the wrapper, and of course the taste was rather harsh during this period. BUT.....once it finally started burning properly I was very plesently surprised..what a great tasting smoke. Medium bodied, but a nice little pepper taste that really started popping about an inch into the cigar. I bought these as a gimmic, but they're actually pretty good cigars..better than the others in the line I've tried, which are very middle of the road at best. With some humi time, hopefully the initial burn will improve. IMHO a plesant surprise that probably isn't overpriced at the $19/5 pack I paid.

I haven't experienced the burn problem you experienced ... and I think they are a very decent cigar!

I like them ... and they run almost $10 each here in California, so yeah ... I think you got a good deal.
