I just smoked one of these (5-pack), and it is one of the worst dog-rockets, I have ever tasted. I would rank it with Lone Wolfs, but at least Lone Wolfs don't have any flavor.

This was terrible. It had a strong sacharine flavor on the lips and almost no tobacco flavor at all. The "herbal" flavor it had, was bad.

I haven't posted in a while, but I needed the input of the experts. Anybody out there care to take a shot at this?

Sounds like you got the sister 5 pack to the last one I got..They were really bad. Funny thing is I have gotten 2-3 boxes and all have been great. Maybe these just sat out some where thery shouldn't have..I know as a rule all of them I have had from C-Bid have been pretty good with the exception of this last 5 pack.. I had trouble with a 5 pack of blondies also some time back and almost didn't try any more of them then I got some in a trade and was glad I hadn't given up on them..I have started taking the 5 and 10 packs and putting them to rest for a month or two before I even try them any more.. Just my 2 and 1/2 Cents worth .. TinMan

PMoreno349. You didn't say whether you have ever tried an aromatic cigar before or not. If not, and you didn't like it that much, then don't go for the stronger stuff. Ambrosia Triple Corona is probably the mildest aromatic Drew Estate makes. There is no tobacco taste with these, really. Sorta like a Macanudo wearing perfume. My wife likes them for a change of pace and I smoke them every once in a while. I like a more robust, non-aromatic taste most of the time.

Tinman may be right that you got a bad batch. You can give it another try in a month, maybe.

IMHO

Dan, Thanks for the input. The only aromatic cigars I have tried before are Acid Def Sea and another 20 rg by Drew Estate, which I kind of liked, for a change of pace on occasion, as you said.

Based on TinMan's input, I may ask Trish (customer service) if I can get these replaced. I assumed, from the price they were going at, and never having seen anyone post negatively about them, that they would at least be smokable.

Yeah I like the triple corano...but the tase is WHOLE lot different then the ambrosia nectar. I like the nectar better if only they made it a little larger. But def sea is one of my fav aromatic gars. they like em at the bowling alley to LOL. I like it cause it makes the cig smokers take notice...:-)
