Yesterday's blasting of the lady running in the Sausage race in Milwaukee was really a criminal act and Randall Simon should get convicted for assault and battery of that young girl! What a jerk! Sorry, but this has gone too far.

Yeah, a 19 year old girl inside a saussage. Now there's a twist... What's wrong with this picture?

Fox Headline News headline this morning says:

"Simon facing potential charges after sausage race indiscretion "

Charley might be right about the outcome on this one ...

As a Milwaukee resident I'm outraged.

And it just goes to show you that the only sausage you should ever beat is your own.

I heard it was a really bad mistake, while trying to be funny.

I think it's refreshing that the young girl decided not to press charges, and just wants an autographed bat from the player. He apologized to her right away.

I think even though it never should have happened, it all worked out ok.

If I were in her shoes, I would say "Oh, thank you, bush leaguer for the bat, but I had rather have a Brian Giles autographed bat than yours"!

Baseball is sweeping this one under the rug by claiming he was only trying to have "fun"! What a joke, some idiot knocks down a mascot with a bat and then says, "I didn't swing at her, only at the top of the mascot"! This is still a deplorable action, put on by a bush leaguer!

Come on now charlie, the guy knew he was on tv. Why would a MILLIONARE set himself up for a lawsuit? I believe him, when he said it was all in fun. It was a terrible judgement call on his part though.

She said that the hat made her so top heavy that any nudge would throw her off balance, and thats what happened. Then they got all tripped up.

The tripping was how she got injured, not by the hit on the hat. The hit on the hat did start it all though.

She's lucky in a way she's ahead of the game she could have been sexually assaulted like some jocks do, or maybe even had her throat cut. Our millioner idols (jocks ) you gotta love em. JonR

2K fine and a 3 game suspension. I'd say he got off light. (big surprise there.) You know at my job you get fired for assaulting another employee.
