Being a fan of the regular Sherpa line (especially when I'm in the mood for something on the milder side), I was looking forward to the Sherpa Diablo with great anticipation. Just finished my second one last night and thought I would offer my 2 cents: all in all, a very nice cigar; smooth as silk in flavor, well made, fairly good burn, and beautiful ash. The first few puffs evoked the youth of the cigars (they will definitely improve with some aging), but then the flavor quickly evolved into a smooth complexity. Somewhat different flavor profile from the regular Sherpa: while the regular line has a pleasant toasty quality, the Diablo is slightly more full-bodied with a subtlely sweet flavor. It reminded me a little bit of the IT Anniversary series, though milder in body. With some additional aging, the Diablo is poised to be a stand-out cigar in my opinion. If you like the regular series, this one's worth a try.

Thanks for the lowdown.

I was looking at the Sherpa deal in the new CI catalogue yesterday and was intrigued. Now I think I may give them a shot!

Peace Out

Just had my first Sherpa Diablo, robusto size. Terrific cigar. Even better for the price. Excellent flavor that stayed pretty consistent; never got hot or harsh at all. Smoked it to the nub.

Great to hear the reviews from you guys. Got some resting in my igloodor right now. Am letting them age a bit before I smoke one and your comments are very encouraging.
