They're good out of the box, but like all cigars the longer you let it "sleep", the more it will marry and mature.
Case in point, I bought some Andy Warhol's from CBid as a poker night giveaway smoke 2 years ago. I buried 6 of them and found them about 3 months ago. I fired it up, I mean there were some plug issues, but the taste wasn't THAT bad, the cigar had changed. It was like Houdini performing a trick. I'm by no means saying that this was better than any Monte # 2, or OpusX(which I believe is overated!)but the properties of a cigar will mature with time.
