Ok it is just an el cheapo that came with humidor, should I just chunk it? Also I just use distilled water so why did it get fuzzy?

I didnt chuck mine, I took it and threw away the credo inside. Mine was one that could be unscrewed. Then I took the 2 parts to the humidifier and threw them in the dishwasher and cleaned them and make sure you use the heat dry. Replaced it with new credo that I got at wal-mart for 2 bucks and never had a re-accurance. Did have a re-accurance before doing what I mentioned by just replacing the credo material and not washing it in the dishwasher. Hope this helps.

When I get fuzzy it usually means I need a shave.

Had a spot of fuzz on mine one time. I just took it apart and scraped the fuzz off. Never had a proplem after that.

mrsanmrfox --- I believe you meant to say 'oasis' ...

... which is the 'green foam' inside your 'Credo' ...

... which is one the most recognized brand names in the cigar industry (for a specific humidfifier), but which has come to mean any humidifier ...

... like 'Kleenex' had come to mean any tissue ... ;^)

Slim,

Thank you. I am still very new to this and everything has a name and nickname and nickname to the nickname. I will soon come to understand all of this. Thanks again.
