If someone has done this before and would like to take this and run with it... that would be great. I don't have a lot in my inventory... but if no one wants to organize and kick this off... I guess I will....
Also, if interested, post email address.

oh... I was thinking sticks that retail for like $3.00 to $7.00. Stuff that I have that I was thinking of contributing would be like Padron 3000, Ashton Corona, AF Cuban Corona, RyJ Cedros Deluxe, La Flor Dominicana 300, HdM Dark Knight, Carlos Torano Exodus 1959, Ramon Allones Brioso, C.A.O. Brazilia, Perdomo 2 Ecuacion... stuff along that line .....

Ethan,

I think that you can maange this. Docrks, would be able to help you put this togehter and adminster it. After all, why not take advantage of his experise and the lessons learned from his "Awesome" pass. If you need additional assistance you can email me and I will share with you what I know about passes.

tngchief (at) hotmail (dot) com

And You Can Count Me In!

I recommend doing my pics like Docrks is doing it instead of sending the entire box overseas.

Regards,

B

Wow. Thanks for the vote of confidence, Billy. Ok, I guess we'll limit it to 15? (I need to start out small on my first one...) After I receive 15 email addresses, I'll lock it. Then after consulting with the sages I'll post the guidelines, etc. Sound good?

Absolutely Wonderful!!! I am "Positive" that you can manage this!

I will send you a bunch of data from other passes that I have participated in to give you some additional background information. Not like you need it just trying to help!

This is going to be fun!!!!

Well this sucks =(, I wanted in but because I am new arround here I was denied. I was told to trade arround and maybe then if another box pass arises I might make the cut, wow this is harder than I thought. I just want to share the love and get some in return (smokes that is) Anyway maybe I'll start my own pass. If you guys change your mind LMK coma(at)acconsultants(dot)com

coma-one - Sorry Bro - I know it sounds harsh but just sit back for a second and think about it. I trust that you have good intentions. It just takes a couple trades to get a reputation.

I am thinking about a European pass when I get out of the hospital. It should be in September, by then you should have earned the right to be included.

Now get out there and start trading. I know you don't wanna miss my pass!

Coma,

I'm not in this pass, but starting your own pass would be a good way to 'prove' yourself to members of this board.

I'm sure that its nothing personal, but people have been ripped off in the past by 'newbies' in trades and box passes.

Someone doesn't want to put hundreds of dollars of cigars in a box, send them to someone they've never dealt with before, and then never see the box again.

Stick around and make a few trades, you'll make some good friends and smoke some excellent cigars. This is a great group of guys.

Coma-one -

I know how you feel - but you aren't singled out and made to do anything that all of us didn't have to do --- we all earned our spurs through trades and established our own profiles and reps through our actions. The Box PASS carries quite a price tag along with it - the PASS we currently have going is worth almost $900 worth of cigars in it...you can see why at those kind of dollars - the PASS organizer is looking to deal with folks who have proven themselves before.
The advice you got to participate in trades is good advice -- there are 2 new Box Passes in the planning stage that I know about already --make your trades and jump on those or as you said - start your own.

Good Luck ----

If there is still a slot - I would like to be considered as a participant in your PASS. I am currently away from my home system - but if you can give me a day or so, I will be pleased to forward you my list of references.
Thanks for your efforts and initiative in getting this going.

OUCH !!!!

Careful Ethan......Octowings is still in recovery from his "James learns how to mail a package" adventure at the Post Office.

His therapist called me and asked me to tell all of his friends to "go easy" on Octo --he's still a little fragile.......but with plenty of rest...good diet, medication and a constant supply of the finest Cigars possible --he'll be right back to the old Octowings we all know and love !!

DrMaddVibe - Is one Helluva guy and just like he said he don't need a reference but I will give him one anyway!

He offered to send me some of the new Bucs and true to his word he did. In addition, he included some Awesome Bonus Sticks!

I would be honored to participate in a box pass with him included.

O.k. boys and girl(s)....

We're down to a couple spots left... who's going to be the lucky ones to get in on this???

I must say, with the introduction of some VERY esteemed bretheren... and the recent mention of some gars of the seafaring variety, this "humble" little pass may get interesting....

Oh Oh ---what have I done?

All this talk of seafaring and swashbuckling --sounds very, very Nautical....have I stumbled into a NAVY focussed PASS ???

Billy - may need your help - both Recon and a little "Black Magic" --- need to ascertain if ARMY Brethren can find true happiness in this PASS !! Maybe we can enlist some men that sport that half-moon Black and Gold Tab ---HOOAH !!

Dr, Mad Vibe --pls contact me at docrks atarmy

Since we seem to be having trouble getting the last few spots filled, I thought I'd tantalize everyone with a few recent additions to the box (it grows by the hour....). Now.... I don't want to give it all away just yet... but... let's just say among our more notable entries will be:

1.a particular selection from the Ashton line that happens to have three initials....I think the first one is V......

2. A particular selection from the AF line that happens to like wearing black...

3. A particular member of the Padron family that seems to be celebrating some sort of Anniversary....

4. Several friendly scallywags that begin in B and end in ucanero.....

5. One particularly beautiful gem that resembles a Pearl and happens to be Black

6. ???????

Ok, ok.... I'm bending my $3 - $7.00 rule a "little" bit.... but the majority still qualify.... I thought I'd just make things a little interesting... besides... retail price is VERY subjective....
