Esp. if it's hockey! Yes, believe it or don't, hockey is pretty huge in Texas now. Due to "those ex-Minnesotans", we now have 8 or 9 minor teams in the state, 10 or more high school teams in the Dallas area, and um, what was that Blues fans? Oh yes!

a STANLEY CUP championship! Yeah it was back in '99, but we have one under our belt.

But...nothing like giving away hall-of-famers: Derian Hatcher to da Wings : ( Enjoy, Wings fans...He's VERY good!

Red Wings

Philadelphia Eagles(been a fan since I was 9 and I'm not giving up!)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers(suffered at the old "sombrero", no bandwagon fan!)

Snicker at the Lions(still have friends on that team)

Detroit Pistons(yeah, I'm a Bad Boy!)

California Angels(used to live in their shadows)

LA Dodgers(ain't nothing like a Dodger Dog! I can remember packed lunches under the palm trees past the fence in the outfield)

Florida State Seminoles(Bowden...'nuff said.)

I forgot to put that Hatcher's always wanted to play in Detroit. He grew up across the river. I like to think that he's paving the way for Modano!!!! I can see it! Illitch has DEEP POCKETS!

Wow! GF you ARE a fan...

But, uh, alright DMV! I see ya tauntin' me. The Hatcher trade made me want to beat tha snot outta Doug Armstrong, GM for the Stars. They tried to agree on a 6yr. deal last Summer but couldn't make it happen, so they put it on hold. This Summer, Hatch wants 5 yrs., Armstrong 3; there's a week left and Armstrong just let's it ride. Within that week, DH signed in Det. Oh well, we just signed John Erskine who is PHEONOMINAL! As far as Hatch ALWAYS wanting to play in Det.? I dunno. Players say anything once their wearing the new sweater. He like Dallas and truly impacted the community (not to mention a few forwards along the way! heh!).

But Mo'? GET REAL! The day they deal our FRANCHISE PLAYER (Emmit Smith) is the day I find another team. But...(sigh), they will and I won't. : (

I eat, sleep and breath the Dallas Stars!!! but, I have to break it to you - Erskine is NOT phenominal. I give him TWO more years, tops, before he's gone. And Numenan (sp????) is NO replacement for Hatch!!! Man, I JUST met Darian and got like 10 autographs from him!! Oh, well.. they'll still be worth something...not that I'll ever get rid of them....

Ok... other sports teams I like:

I'm one Dallas resident who HATES the cowboys.... except I LOVE Parcells...so I'm torn....
