That's over retail! Factor in Calif. taxes and he's stealing them!

It's one GREAT cigar, by a GREAT company but "man's gotta know his limitations"

He shudda hit the trades board...

Over retail in California??? I don't think so ...

At one shop I visited recently ... they were selling the Bucanero at $8.95 to $10.95 ...

... and CI doesn't sell 5-packs of these ...

What's the problem? He wants them ... let him have them. At his present bid of $6.60 ... that, to me, is totally acceptable ...

... and still quite a bit cheaper than you can get them in the 'high-tax' states!

Slim, step down off of your "high horse". Retail to you and retail to me are 2 different animals. Like I said factor in Calif. taxes and its a bargain for him.

breathe...breathe...fingers still hurt...

smithbw --- at the price they are paying now ...

... that's a $5 cheaper than they can get them for if they buy them the BOX online.

Not on any high horse, DrMaddVibe ... just misunderstood your first sentence.

Without the '?' ... and with the '!', I took it as a exclamation, not a question ... and kind of went blind to the second line ... LOL!

... I haven't had my coffee yet this morning ...

Slim;

Wow! I have really lived a good life - never had to pay more than 5 dollars a stick. Only did that once.

Now Get to Grindin' I can't smell the beans yet! =)

You are very fortunate ... most of us can not make that claim ...

Ahhhhhhhhhhh ... 'home roasted' Keyna AA ... and an OpusX this morning!

... and the OpusX was a gift, which makes it even more enjoyable!

My most favorite time to smoke a cigar, is early in the morning with a good cup of coffee ... just as the sun is rising.

I will always smoke my best then ... when my taste buds are well rested, and are at their peak!

DrMaddVibbe said, "An Opus in the morning?!? Doesn't that leave you nothing to look forward to the rest of the day?"

... let's see ...

It's after 1 pm here in Cali, and I'm ready for my second cigar of the day. So ... I think I'll enjoy a Hemingway Classic MADURO right about now ...

This evening ... I'm not sure. It will be a toss up between an AF Anejo, VS55 or maybe a PSD#3 EL ...

Slim, I am the Californian who was bidding on these wonderful smokes. They are almost impossible to buy around here. But even I have my limits, and I still have a few napping. Bidding is half the fun here, but you gotta know wnen to say enough!!

Have a great weekend guys.

WineGuy --- don't worry about these guy's ...

... one of their favorite pastimes is tryig to figure out the so called 'overbdders'. It drives them crazy ... LOL!

Being from The 'Republic of Kalifornia', I too know how hard it can be to get the 'good stuff' here on the 'left coast' ...

... so bid whatever you are comforatable with, and enjoy the fun and cigars!

Umm, I think you kind folks misunderstood my post...I was actually agreeing that the price had gone too high!

Anyway, it's all good here . Ooh, I'm not afraid to overbid just to toast your nuts.

Maybe someday I will do a box split, just to busy to organize it now, or lazy. One of the two.

WineGuy - These are Great... No "Incredible" cigars I am in no way trying to intimidate you...I was just a little shocked at the price....Wow!

Since I thought about it - I am willing to pay top dollar for top cigar and the Full Sail is one of the best! I wish you the best of luck on your bid. =)

Robby - stop bidding on em! They are mine all mine! Don't drive the price up any more!

Hog - Thank you soooooooooo much for making me laugh. That happens to be the best medicine. My email is

tngchief (at) hotmail (dot) com

I gotta get you more information...So you can get that mullet out =)

This has really been a fun thread! =)
