Has anyone ever smoked the "egg", or a medusa, and if so, why?

D.E.'s are o.k. every once in a while.

Went through a phase where I smoked quite a
few, but I think it was just a phase I was
going through. Now I'm down to one D.E. every
month or so.

Egg - Yuck, Horrible Draw, Uneven Burn...

Medusa - They're Not Too Bad...Tastes like a D.E.
Root, and those are pretty good...

But, as they say "To Each Their Own!"

If 'ya like 'em smoke 'em, and don't let anyone
tell 'ya you've got bad taste.

Never tried it. Always seemed to me to be more of a "novelty" than anything else. Like the industrial press pretty well....

I've had both. Definitely novelty cigars. The egg was a little difficult to keep lit. I tossed it out after I smoked it "over the hump". Smoke it in public and it will definitely turn some heads. The Medusa was decent. I couldnt get used to the twisted cigar, though. It felt kind of weird in my hand.

Some other thoughts on the subject...

Tried the Egg and I also had an uneven burn and poor draw.. The medusa on the other hand was much more enjoyable.. I agree taste is clode to Root with out the flavor tang madusa is more of a Plain jane Root. IMHO..TinMan
