Finally smoked this one that's been sitting in the humi now for a couple of months. Very oily maduro rapper. Smelled great and tasted great right from the get go. Couldn't help thinking about the Indian Tabac SF maddie the whole time I smoked it though. Same size and all. This smoke was full flavored and sweet. The burn needed help at first, but was perfect the rest of the way through. Smoked it to 1/4" before the ban, when the great flavor started to go down hill. Lost to the black pearl by 1/2 a point, which I smoked to the nub. All in all a great smoke. This smoke reminded me again why I like Cigars and why I will no longer smoke middle of the road smokes. Life is just too short.

Hmm..... I think you would have enjoyed my "middle of the road" box pass.... the Torano Ex. 1959 tops the list! (one of my all time favorites...)

The Exodus '59 torp is one damn fine cigar, IMO ... I smoked my first one of these back when they first came out and instantly loved it ... most recently, I had one just last night ... and plenty of others in between ...

Last night must have been '59 torpedo night. I too smoked one about 8:00pm. Got busy and had to set it down and relight a couple of times but it hung in there until about 10:00pm. Love'um.ch

I love the Torano Nicaraguan, the Signature, and the Exodus Silver (though it can be a little harsh sometimes, but still has a unique flavor), but I just haven't had good experiences with the Torano Exodus '59.

I've had two or three, and each time the draw has been bad, the taste has been kinda bitter and harsh, and over-all I was left expecting much better from the Torano family.

Maybe I just need a good one, or maybe I should let them rest...but I have yet to have a good Exodus '59

Silvers need a bit of humi time .. no doubt about it ... with 60-90 days, you'll be surprised what happens to 'em ... your experience with the Gold is not something I've ever even heard before ... what size did you smoke, where'd you get 'em and how long did you let 'em rest in the humi before lighting one ??
